Simply put, this place is Mount Pleasant?s best Italian restaurant. Upon walking in, the staff greeted us with nothing but... kindness and energy. Our waitress was really helpful in helping us to decide what we should order?especially since we weren?t ina pizza mood. We eventually decided upon the garlic knots and Ana?s Arancini balls to split. When the kitchen accidentallygave us an extra order of the Focaccia bread, they let us keep it! I thought that admitting an honest mistake to the customers,as well as letting them have extra food showed this restaurant?s generous attitude towards its customers. I am not a tomato fanat all. I hate tomatoes in salad, in red sauce, and in general. But I found myself dipping my bread in their tomato sauce againand again. And trust me, I absolutely hate tomatoes. It was life changing. After we finished our food, we were even offeredextra pizza to bring home with us! In simple, this restaurant is Mount Pleasant (and Charleston)?s best addition to the pizzaand Italian food scene. The staff are energetic, friendly, and kind. The food is delicious, fresh, and home made. If you arelooking for amazing Italian food, this is the place to go. Read more

The first time we went it was pretty good, especially for SC standards. We went back tonight, this time with the whole family... and it was not good at all. The breadsticks were burned and the pizza was cold. We did originally order ahead for pick-up butdecided to eat in once we got there. When I asked about the pizza being cold the server said ?yeah there?re a lot better whenthey?re hot?. Service was also very poor, after getting our drinks we never saw the server again until I asked for the check. This place had some promise but appears to be significantly overpriced for what you get. Maybe someone will open a real NY pizzashop in Mt Pleasant. Read more

Has Potential but not sure its worth the premium. They are trying to look, feel and even taste like a NY pizza place but their... menu and pricing does not. The pizza is good but with an 18" plain pie starting at $18 and then $3 to $4 a topping, you end upwith a pizza priced beyond what you would pay in most of NYC. Bold for a place that is just starting out and Mount Pleasant isexpensive but its not quite at NYC. I hope they dial that in or maybe put some specials out for locals because it does havepotential but right now not worth the premium. Read more
