Love this cafe! It has the best chai latte I?ve had ever, and the toasts and sandwiches I?ve tried are delicious and were able... to be made gluten free. It has a great atmosphere, great for meeting up with people or working. Great spot! Read more
This place is definitely a hidden gem! We are so glad that we found it, we need more places like this! Everyone that was there... was not only super friendly but seemed very genuine and caring, very good people! We came after dinner for snacks and games andspent a good while enjoying one of the mini games that they have available to play. I wish that I had taken a picture of theirgame area to show how many different options they have, they have done a fantastic job of giving a variety of classic and evensome niche games. My personal favorite is Catan and they have several copies so game on haha! The food was also very good andagain I just can't say enough positive about the service and the way that everybody seem to genuinely care, it was beyond agreat experience! If you have not been here before do yourself a favor and give it a chance, even if you're not into games, butespecially if you are into games this place must be on your list! There are just so many positive things to say even thesimplest little touches like the unisex bathrooms with a changing table and any supplies that you could possibly need availableright there, I can't tell you how frustrating it is as a dad that so many restrooms don't have a reasonable way to change orclean up one of the little ones! Too many little touches and thoughtful appointments here to catch them all! We will definitelybe back, the only negative is that we don't live closer to spend more time here! I wish I could give more than a five starrating! They hold an incredible balance of being friendly to all ages and any type of traditional game player (as in notcomputer games), so whether you are single and looking for somewhere to hang out with friends and enjoy some great food andrefreshments, or married with kids and beyond, you will fit in here! Ate at Owlbear Cafe for breakfast while on a vacation to Isle of Palms and highly recommend it! We got the açaí bowls which... were fresh and delicious. My daughter had the waffle which was also yummy! My husband said the coffee was really good.
