(M/F 27yo/28yo) We heard so many things about the oysters here and we understand why! We made a reservation last minute a week... out and snagged a last effort time slot for a Saturday night at 845pm. We arrived early, went across the street for a drink andwe’re called back to be seated at 830pm. The decor is spot on with the theme and vibe. It was all so beautiful with greeneryand salted wood. Huge fan right off the bat. While looking over the menu and beginning to order, our waitress informed us thatthe kitchen requests we put all the order in at the same time and our meal will be served in courses as the chef sees to how itis enjoyed and consumed. We LOVED that. Definitely see the French aspect of the restaurant. And the appeal of that. We sat inthe patio portion and got to feel the open air. We were very impressed with what Nico had to offer. An excellent eating experience that served everything fresh. I was especially in tuned with the modest selection of raw oysters,... but have your coins at the ready. Besides the fresh seafood, the cost of the drinks are a little stout. The broth was anexcellent touch to the Bacon clams, as you'll want to request extra bread to get all the goodness. Read more
The food was delicious that is undeniable. What made me give it four stars was the service provided by the waitress. She... wasn’t very communicative about the daily specials or cocktails. She was also directing all the answers and questions to myboyfriend like I wasn’t there. Rude on her part. They also need to tight up a little the restrooms. Such a nice and expensiverestaurant should have clean and presentable restrooms. Besides that I would come again to this establishment. Read more
Simply amazing. French food at its finest. Every dish was exceptional. We had escargot, oysters, tuna tartar, ceviche, salmon.... Calamari, Fresh flounder and Baked Alaska. The service was excellent. The ambience was friendly. Great find. Read more
Great staff, they always showed up right when needed. Opened with oysters that were the freshest. The apps, mains and deserts... were well prepared, check our pictures. We enjoyed early eating. We'll be back often, they take care of you. Read more
Overall: For a higher-end seafood experience, it doesn't get much better than this. The good: Everything we had was incredible.... Started with the oysters, which were fresh and paired with the standards (as well as a ((very hot)) house-made hot sauce). Alsohad the baked cheese, which tasted like it was straight from France - so many different flavors of honey, garlic, and pine nutson baked goodness. Next was the octopus, which was charred *just* right, had great flavor, and was topped with a a nice sprinkleof salt. Our favorite plate was the bacon clams, which were out of this world. Generous chunks of bacon, peppers, and shelledclams are steeped in a delicious broth, and were paired with a crispy-yet-chewy baguette to soak it all up. To top off theevening, we were given a gratis scoop of their decadent and delicious dark chocolate ice cream for my wife's birthday. Heck,even the wine was great. We'll be coming back for sure! Our favorite dinner of our trip. The place is upscale, but not fussy or pretentious. Service was friendly and not overbearing.... Food was awesome! We had cheese puffs and oysters to start. Then my husband had the steak frites and I had the tomato salad.Wish I’d ordered more food, but good news was I had a lot of room for two incredible desserts. We will definitely return. Read more
