Coming from the midwest where pho is a staple in my Asian community, and having pho in other parts of the country like Vegas,... felt like the pho was nowhere close the traditional pho one would expect. Definitely lacked the traditional spices needed suchas star anise, which also made the broth lacking in fragrance and taste. The broth leaned more towards a straight flatter beefand mildly ginger taste that didn't give it the depth or dimension of spice, hint of sweetness, to savory. For $15/bowl, alsoonly had one cut of meat which appeared to be the flank. No other options such as meatball, tendon, tripe, etc. I wasdisappointed given high reviews as I was looking forward to comfort food in the area as my overall food experience in SC waslacking. Also missed a few important condiments for pho such as chili garlic oil. Service was friendly and fast. Dining areawas very small. Enjoyed the kids menu options for a fair price.
