I typically find, "Hit or Miss" more prevalent with Chinese food restaurants than other types of restaurants. (Probably just... me). Anyhow, The Golden Bowl is consistently very good. Had take-out from here many times. Some days are better than others butnever a time when we said, “Well,... that was dreadful”. Even in times when they are exceptionally busy the staff finds away to be cordial and welcoming. Highly recommend. Read more

Horrible. Ordered Kung Pao Beef. Recipe calls for Beef, Peanuts, Onions, and schezhuan peppers in a brown garlic sauce. No... onions! Almost no beef. Couln't taste the garlic. Instead had celery, zuchinni, red bell peppers, carrots, mushrooms. And thesauce was not spicy, though I ordered medium spice level. Also ordered veggie fried rice. Received spanish rice. Really. The 2 men working were very nice. I ordered 2 sweet & sour chicken combos, 1 w/ pork fried rice & 1 w/ lomein. I also ordered... generals chicken w/ lomein. All 3 meals came with an egg roll and were hot when I picked them up. The one man who I had askedabout vegetables even made me a small sample to try. I wasn't crazy about the brown sauce on them but it was a very sweetgesture. I paid about $40.00 w/ tip and I will definitely be going back! Read more
