Nice little brewery in Mt. Pleasant, close to where we were staying in IOP. The day I was there, there were lots of easy... drinking options- kolsches, pilsners, wheat beers, etc. The Left Coast IPA and Swim Pants Rye IPA were my favorites. We visited two other nearby breweries before coming here. Honestly we were about to give up on Mt. Pleasant breweries, but saved... Ghost Monkey for last because Google said it was ?Highly Rated.? Once again, Google was right!! This is an unassuming place inan industrial area. Once inside, it is equally unassuming. No frills here, but comfortable seating, a couple games, and GOODbeer. We particularly liked the Mexican lager with lime, the lemon basil IPA, and the cotton candy sour. We started with aflight and they were all good. And every tip or change left goes to charities. Tim and the other guy from Charlotte were greatwith recommendations and conversation about the area and beer. SO glad we went there!! Read more
Tim and Erin were amazing! Every single style of beer we tried was delicious! Live music was fantastic but not too loud! I can?t... complain one bit about our experience here. Ghost Monkey will be a constant on our rotation for now on! Read more
Great brewery off the beaten path in MP. All of the beers we tried were delicious, especially the sour. The staff was friendly... and helpful. Plenty of seating both indoor and outdoor for either a party of 2 or a larger group. Read more
An amazing local brewery. The inside is dog friendly, comfortable, and relaxed. The outside space is big with plenty of tables... and space. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. The beer is outstanding on it?s own. I recommend their sours as wellas the left coast IPA. I?m not an IPA person, but it was so easy drinking that I may come back and order it. And Dashi, the foodtruck, is as good as the brewery! Will be stopping here with the dog every time I?m back in CHS Read more
