Never heard of this place before and we were lucky to catch it out of the corner of our eye as we were about to pull out of the... plaza. Stopped in the drive-through for a quick bite during our busy day. The experience was the best ever for a fast foodlocation. Friendly staff, fast service, and hands down great food. Chicken tenders were tasty, the ranch and honey mustard weredelicious and the fries were crispy and different from your typical fast food joint. Great fries and a solid burger that can easily scratch that fast food itch in a slightly elevated way. One major criticism:... please ask me if I want cheese on my burger(as the Original Shack Burger does not come with). Or am I the only knuckle draggerthat assumes there will be cheese on a burger without it explicitly saying so?!? Read more
In the mood for burgers and Come Back Shack overdelivered on taste, quality, atmosphere, and hospitality! It was our second time... in a Come Back Shack and the first time in the Mt. Pleasant location. The weather was cool enough to enjoy the beautifuloutdoor seating and evening. The evening we went the drive thru was busy so I was a little concerned that it may take a whileto get our food. Boy was I wrong! The staff was on it!! Wow!!!!! The food was absolutely freaking amazingly so delicious! I?m not a big hamburger fan, but if they are anything like... this, these belong in their own food group. Nice place with a few locations. The burgers are great in that they feel more like a deluxe McDonalds burger. Very similar size... as a McDouble. For a $6 burger I would expect more then one tiny slice of tomato, only problem I felt with the burger. Thebuffalo fries were decent, the fries were soft, borderline soggy but the sauces were mixed and every fry was wellcoated. Overall the food is pretty good and the location itself is very nice with an outdoor seating area. Read more
Finally got around to trying the new Come Back Shack location in central Mount Pleasant where the Urban Cookhouse was located. ... I ordered the standard burger, fries and coke. It was very good! Everyone that worked there was super helpful and the foodcame out fast and hot. To make the most of the visit, I also ordered a pretzel and the Cinnamon Toast Crunch shake. I highlyrecommend trying out this restaurant at Bowman Place. The option of a drive-thru is also very convenient. Read more
Best burger and chocolate shake in Mount Pleasant. Y?all need to go see Adam at the Come Back Shack. Family owned, locally... sourced ingredients, AND homemade ranch you can take home by the jar! We didn?t try for the longest time because we thought itwas Cookout-esque, chain, fast food. Could not have been more wrong. Did we mention the hand-cut fries and fried pretzel withNutella? Where do I even start? The BEST fries! All of their meats are never frozen, and antibiotic free. When I go to the grocery store... I only buy the best meat, I can breath easy when I come here knowing it's high quality! The portions are perfect, and I usuallyhave some to take home, total bonus! I've had the local burger and the chicken tenders, both were so good, and the variety ofsauces is fantastic! The Come back sauce is....I can't even...you have to taste it for yourself.
