This is a pretty cool local place. It's not the chain restaurant everybody is familiar with. This is one of the original... standalone restaurants. It's in high demand and it's one of the only places to eat in a small town so you're likely to have towait a few minutes, but it's worth it for the small town atmosphere. The food is good and the place has old school diner feel.If you're looking for modern hipster ambiance and free wi-fi, this probably isn't your place. Blind trust report: Outstanding 4 stars out of Five... Friendly service; Still a NC blast from the past hidden secret. Not to be... confused with Texas What-A-Burger. Much like McDonald?s there was a family they could never buy out. Fast service; very Busytoday. In my opinion all restaurants receive 3 stars at the beginning of the blind trust report. I love small-town burger places and that's why I stopped. But honestly it's just not good and I'm not sure why people are saying... it is. Everyone was really nice and had a great vibe. But the burger was just straight up pre-made freezer patties with baggedlettuce and ingredients. The fries are just from a bag and no seasoning added. Normal Coca-Cola/Sundrop options. I honestlyliked the place but the food just wasn't good, I didn't even finish the burger. I've been to way better local joints where welive. Read more
Doesn?t get better than this! Delish burgers, cherry lemon sundrop and other choices. Staff is always very friendly.
Love it. Ordered hamburgers, fried pickles, hush puppies, onion rings beer batter. The cashier lady was just soo sweet. Stopped... here after the muddy race and this really hit the spot. Clean and organized. We sat outside and the parking lot specially aroundthe benches was very clean and well maintained. Will be back . Highly recommend pickles. I had the What-a-cheeseburger all the way (mustard, slaw, chili, onions). It was pretty big. I should have gotten a regular... cheeseburger but, hey, it was my first visit. I had to order the What-a-burger, right? I wanted a chocolate shake or ice creambut I was too full, maybe next time I'll have just dessrrt. Read more
