I just went through the drive thru and ordered a Chipotle chicken & avocado breakfast sandwich and this is what they gave me.... There's just an egg on this. I should've checked my food before I left but I definitely wasn't expecting this. $7 for an egg???Won't be coming back here. Read more
I never get Panera because I only like chicken noodle soup and every time I get their soup I?m disappointed. But I?m very sick... right now and haven?t gotten Panera in years so I thought I?d give it a try again. I received my chicken noodle soup and it was90% broth. There was maybe 6 pieces of chicken and 4 noodles. Not kidding, I counted because my favorite part of chicken noodlesoup are the noodles. They always disappoint me. I have been going to this panera on my way to one of my job sites in northern MI for at least 4 years. The Manager (I believe... his name is Mr Brown- I keep trying to glance at his name tag to leave this review and I hope I remember it correctly) is one ofthe most detailed oriented people I have ever met in the food industry. He greets everyone, asks if I have been helped everytimeI stop by. I have seen him jump in at every position to help the team out. His crew (even new faces) are always well trained andpositive to work with. I work in a restaurant with a drive thru, and I know holidays are hard, especially Black Friday. I?ve been Black Friday shopping... today since 6 am, and I stopped by Panera to grab one soufflé. The parking lot was a ghost town, and the cafe appeared empty aswell, but shockingly, an old woman with short, white hair who I would assume to be some type of manager felt it was appropriateto speak badly about her employees to me for the crime of spending time with their families out of town over the holidays. Shesaid that they ?didn?t want to come to work? because they all left town for Thanksgiving and that ?wasn?t a good enough excuse.?As a supervisor myself, I would never embarrass myself by ridiculing my coworkers to a customer. Especially not for something soridiculous. If you legitimately expect your coworkers to prioritize their job at Panera over spending quality time with theirloved ones on a holiday, you're delusional and selfish. Have some empathy.
