Came here around 2pm on a Sunday just as brunch was ending so there was plenty of seating. We still sat at the bar. My boyfriend... got the Midwestern Bacon Steak Benedict and I got a sirloin steak with double potatoes. Both items were cooked perfectly and hadso much flavor! The beers on tap were pretty varied and we even took home a 4-pack of their amber ale. Service was great! Foodand drinks were flawless! And the interior design was impeccable! So glad we stopped here on our way home. Read more

Wonderful waitress made our dinner a great experience. Food was very good but a bit on the pricy side. Also always wonder why... an appetizer is an odd count? Read more

Great farm to fork options for seasonal fair in Iowa. Everything was delicious! Not a single person in our party was... disappointed. The tenderloin had the best breading we've tasted, the buns/rolls were all excellent in taste and texture. We hadburgers, tenderloin and a french dip. All of the meats were tender, flavorful and cooked to perfection. Nothing was dry. My dadhad the chocolate cake which looked divine, and he raved about it. Very nicely done. It's a bit noisy of a space, but it's abrewery, so to be expected! Well done! Read more

We arrived later but before the kitchen closed and was greeted happily. Our waitress was attentive and engaged with us after we... asked some questions about the city and surrounding area. Food was tasty and lots of choices available. Steak with garlic herbbutter and the Burger cooked medium were made to order. Fries were crispy and not too salty. The owner and brew master were inthe restaurant and spoke with us before leaving. Very friendly and made us feel at home! Thank you. Read more

I would highly reccomend a stop here. Excellent and varied menu, the rib eye steak was cooked to a perfect medium-rare, the... potatoes were hot and lightly gravied. Soup was house-made, the salad was fresh and the ale selection was broad. Hard to choosewith such a strong menu! The staff and owners obviously take pride in providing a top-notch dining experience. Service wasattentive and friendly. A very enjoyable experience here. I will return again at the next opportunity. Well done staff & ownersof "The Grange Public House" - KUDOS!!! Read more

Visited with a friend a few days ago on a whim and I'm so glad that we did! All the food was exceptional, from the Devil's food... cake for desert to the surprise fry sauce that came with our burgers (and fries). I said to my friend with sincerity "this mightbe the best meal I've ever eaten at a restaurant." Drink menu is plentiful, with a wide variety of beers bottled/canned and ontap, a great liquor selection, decent wine selection (I think, it's not my thing but there were at least a lot of choices), andsome fun and unique cocktails and shots. The atmosphere is very industrial, but charming. I was particularly fond of some ofthe hand-made decorations on the bar, such as the rocket ship made from a wire cage light fixture. Service was polite andprompt. She was on top of our waters and had the foresight to ask about splitting the check, which is always appreciated. Shealso was adequately present despite juggling multiple tables and tending bar. My sole complaint from the whole thing was thatI'm not a fan of the menu design. It's sheets of papers on a clipboard which admittedly fits the aesthetic, but was a littlefrustrating to deal with due to the bountiful choices on each set of menus. I understand it is likely a convenience forfrequently rotating items, but it did diminish the experience slightly. With that being said, I'm definitely going to have tofind excuses to head to Mount Pleasant so I can visit this place again (and again and again...)! Read more

What a great new place in Mt. Pleasant. The custom built location is super cute. The layout and details are very intentional. ... The food was pretty good we had BBQ, steak, pork chops and shrimp. The server knew the menu and options and did as best as shecould. Kitchen issues still to work out with getting food to come out together, I saw this across several tables and even atour own one meal came after all the others were done and the delay to bring it out was slower than expected. The flavors wereall good, everyone ate the complete meal. It was raining but the outdoor area looks nice for a future visit. Read more
