I’m not sure what these rave reviews are talking about. Came here for my wife’s birthday, it definitely was a charming... place. The food was bland, not even adding salt could save it. Lobster bisque was a watery, picadinho was decent but more likeshredded bits of meat, gambas lacked flavor even with the amount of garlic in it. The bitoque was good at least and thecocktails they couldn’t mess up on, those were great. Overall, the place is cute but the food needs major improvement. I willnot return. Read more

I don't write reviews very often but I felt compelled to write a review about this place because my wife and I were misled by... the 4.3 star rating that encouraged us to eat here. We ordered seven dishes in total - two different soups and five tapasdishes. We waited about an hour before we ate anything other than bread, but we weren't upset about it because the staffmembers were very nice and acknowledged the wait by letting us know that they were short one chef. But when the food arrived, none of it was good. The soups were watery and bland (the gazpacho had a ton of paprika, which I like, but it tasted likedrinking paprika out of a bowl of tomato water and soggy bread). The croquetas were the only thing that did not disappointus. I almost feel bad writing a negative review because the staff was friendly but the food just wasn't good. The mostpositive thing that I could say about it afterwards was that nothing was inedible. It didn't seem overpriced for a tapasrestaurant but the food that they served us is not worth the money. It may have been an off night but it was bad (andexpensive) enough that you could not convince us to give it a second chance. Read more

Great spot! Every dish we ordered was beyond delicious, the staff was so warm and friendly and welcoming. We stayed for hours... and never felt rushed -- it felt like we were in a European restaurant for a night. I'll be back for sure! Read more

We picked up an order of Paella Valenciana. It is the saltiest paella we have ever tasted. There was hardly any rice, clams and... mussels overcooked, chorizo not sliced properly. I think a cup of salt was used in this dish. Seems like salt was the mainingredient. Wow! Read more

We went for lunch today as part of Hudson Valley restaurant week and had a good experience. The restaurant takes outdoor... reservations on open table and the outdoor area is quite nice -- covered with a high ceiling, windows along the long wall butopen on both of the shorter walls to allow airflow. Good heat lamps too, although despite calling yesterday to confirm that theyin fact had heat lamps, when we first arrived we were told that they had no fuel for them. We expressed our great disappointment(it was approximately 50° and a bit windy today) and someone did come out and was able to turn two of them on. We had theEmpanadillas Gallegas (veal meat turnovers) and Arroz de Pato (shredded duck with paella rice) to start with. Entrees wereCostela de Vaca (braised black angus short ribs over linguine) and Bitoque (black angus strip steak with egg & fries). Anddessert was Chocolate Mousse and Flan. Read more
