My wife and I have gone here twice now and sat at the bar and the bartender here, I believe her name is Kylie, is wonderful. I... have food restrictions and she was very aware of them and made sure the kitchen saved a dessert I could eat last time we werethere. I had the pan fried walleye and it was good but it wasn?t fulfilling but the place was nice and clean.
We were on a long haul from CA and found this place on Google. Wanted a nice sit down upscale dinner and they did not... disappoint! Everything from the artichoke dip with toasted Naan bread to the Filet and glass of wine was awesome. Really likedthe decor and style of the restaurant. Very much recommend. There?s a beautiful bar inside, very special specials, and excellent care taken to ensure safe dining right now. They?ve clearly... calculated every step, spaced intervals of diners, all employees with PPE, and QR code menus. Absolutely unbelievable is all I can say. My dad and I went last weekend, and I have to say that I had the best tenderloin I... have had in the Madison area. I've been to Rare, Ruth's, Tornado, Johnny's, and Flemings plenty of times-- to be honest it waspretty unanimous among our table that Bistro 101 topped them all. The owner came over and being the great guy he is, even gaveme a few tips on how to make their amazing mushroom bisque. The service was great and the drinks were to our liking. I wish Icould give a 6 star review for the poorly informed people that gave Bistro 101 anything less than a perfect score. Will be backtime and time again! Read more
