My daughter never has luck with delivery from this Popeyes - it's always wrong- so we decided to walk in. Guess what? No better!... My part of the order wasn't complicated: a two piece white meat mild (breast and wing) with red beans and rice and a biscuitwith butter and honey. I received two mild drumsticks (dark meat - ugh - and NOT cooked all the way through). The side dish wascold, and the biscuit was hard (no butter or honey). This was 5:30pm on a Thursday. This place has definitely turned around. I came here a little after 10 for lunch and had the most pleasant customer service! I... did have to wait a bit for the chicken tenders but I was made aware before I placed the order and everything was fresh, hot anddelicious. I ordered chicken tenders, and popcorn shrimp meals. I hate wasting time and money and I just wasted both, I spent over $50 on the worst Popeyes chicken dinner ever. I placed my... order for the 16 piece family meal at the drive through, the very young man taking my order acted like it was his very first dayon the job. I explained to him that my family only eat dark meat and was willing to wait, he attempted to tell me basically Ihad to take what they gave me, I told him that I would take what you gave me if and only if it was free, that if I?m paying forit, I want what I?m paying for, now let me speak to the manager. The manager then comes on and says that she heard what wassaid and it wouldn?t be a problem, I drive forward, pays and was asked to drive around to the front of the store, they willbring out my order when it was ready. I wait an additional 20 minutes, I had already waited 20-25 minutes before placing myorder, they bring out my order I always check my order before I leave because they have messed it up numerous times, and insteadof the Red Beans & Rice I have mashed potatoes, the lobby is closed so I walked around to the drive through window explained thesituation, waited another 10 minute?s standing on the side of the drive through window it get the red beans & rice and gohome. Once home, I noticed that they didn?t include any biscuits, the rice was hard and crunchy, the fries were cold in one biglump in a greasy brown paper bag (what kind of *%#?) is that! Horrible. I dont blame the employees (fully though) - I blame the management. Second time I have been here in a month. Should... have known not to come back the first time. Clearly they are short handed which is a good part of the problem. Store is drivein only. Dirty on the outside. Both times now they gave me nuggets instead of tenders (big mistake). Food not cooked like atraditional popeyes. I would stay away from given the cost. Read more
