Food was good. Service was a slow but it's like that everywhere. Would have liked to order another drink.
Finally!! As an ex New Yorker, it?s Impossible to find a pizza that?s not paper thin here in Florida. But here, they get it. The... crust was crisp and airy but not burnt or over done. Fresh basil, olive oil and tomato and tons of cheese. The staff was allsmiles and friendly. Especially a big shout out to Jaydon. Not only did he hook me up with ice cold water on a hot day, he ranmy pizza out to the truck so I could sit in the AC. Great food, great service. I will be back. Read more
Garlic knots were hard and overcooked. Pizza tasted like something you would buy in the frozen pizza aisle at Winn-Dixie. Hard... to mess up pizza! PizzaAmore is a former house turned restaurant. The inside was nice transformed into a dining establishmentbut the food was awful. Would not recommend. Too many better Pizza places around nearby. Read more
Completely ignored at the bar while waiting for a table. Would liked to have ordered drink?s. kitchen area was filthy.. Cameras... everywhere, makes for an uncomfortable dining experience. decor was awful. Service was just okay. Customers were rude. It justwas what it was I guess. Wow. A customer complains that your restaurant is filthy, and your go to is to attack. You just provedmy point that you shouldn?t be in business in the first place. Read more
I don?t know why I keep giving this place a chance. I tried it when I first moved here 4 years ago and the driver was 45 minutes... passed the time he was supposed to show up, claiming he was lost. The pizza was bland, cold, and chewy. Fast forward to now, Ifigured maybe it was just an isolated incident, things happen, right? So I ordered pizza and yet another awful experience. Thepizza is SO RAW in the middle of the entire pizza that I can?t pull a piece of pizza out the box without it ripping and leavingthe center. It is actual raw dough in the center. All we could do is eat the outer edge of the pizza because the rest was notcooked. I also ordered a salad, which you figure how can a salad get messed up??? Well it was. The croutons were not crunchy.They were like soft pieces of old bread and the dressing was so thick it was like pudding and gelatinous. Back to the pizza, thepineapple slices are SO huge we had to cut them up before We could even eat them on the pizza. I am again beyond disappointed,and it?s obvious this was not a fluke the first time I ordered delivery 4 years ago. Read more
Wowzer! So delicious. Great stop for pizza and great local beer choices. Staff was friendly however seamed a bit rushed to get... you in and out quickly. Really nice atmosphere. Lots of seating options. Read more
PizzAmore is excellent. We visited in the late afternoon for an early dinner before a soccer game. The food was amazing. We... tried the bruschetta garlic knots and they were delicious - order the large portion, you won't regret it. We also had thebrussel sprouts appetizer that included huge brussel sprouts perfectly prepared and seasoned. We had the Chicken Giardena Saladand the Caesar salad and both were delicious. We had pizza, a calzone, a flat bread, and lasagna. All were amazing. My favoriteswere probably the lasagna and the calzone, but it was difficult to choose a favorite when everything is so good. For dessert wetried the pumpkin creme brulee, the chocolate cake, cannoli, and carrot cake. All great. We will definitely be back. Read more
Great little pizza shop near downtown Mount Dora. Limited parking in the adjacent parking lot but they do have overflow parking... at a nearby business. Several wine options, by the glass, carafe or bottle. Many pizza and salad options, baked brussel sproutsare a great appetizer option. They offer takeout and the takeout business appears to be booming. If you're planning on a weekenddinner visit, try to arrive before typical dinner hours or you may have trouble getting a table.
