Mount Dora Market village and quaint down town are. Great place for fresh bread, jalapenos and peaches! If you go don't miss the... shops, the cupcakes and lunch at Codys! I had the Muffeletta sandwich n my wife had a grill cheese with basil/parmesan tomatosoup(with chardonnay and fresh coffee). Both were awesome and you can bring your dog!!! Read more
I love Cody?s!! When we decided to go to Mount Dora for the day, we knew we had to come to Cody?s. The staff was amazing and the... food was delicious! You could easily tell the locals were highly thought of by the staff because they knew their name andexactly what they wanted! Highly recommend getting a coffee, homemade quiche, or a salad with the delicious honey garlicdressing. I easily could?ve gone just for a delicious salad alone! Mount Dora downtown was a very cute discovery! Blue Bunny: place for Icecream and frozen treats, my opinion? Delicious? my... favorite flavor? YUM! What a nice spot for brunch. My twin sister and I split the farmers quiche with salad and it was great! Our server was so... sweet, had fast service, and knew all of the locals by name! I also got an iced brown butter toffee and I loved it! Highlyrecommend. Read more
My wife and I both had chicken salad; mine was a wrap while hers was on a croissant. Both were delicious and the side of pasta... salad was fantastic. I really wanted to try the shrimp salad but they were sold out, so it must be great! We?ll get thereearlier next time! Read more
Great small/medium sized eatery for breakfast and brunch. Staff is very attentive and the service is great. Plates of food are... good in portion for the price. I do wish the menu was a little larger to add some heftier breakfast options such asegg/bacon/sausage/pancake combo platters and perhaps a wider breakfast sandwich selection would go very far for Cody's. I lovestopping in regardless for their bagel sandwiches and their cappuccino. They do sell their bagels up at the front of the store,so you can take them home, which we love. The bagels are made by another company out of New York but are still worth everypenny. Try their asiago bagel and bring a friend. You won't be disappointed. Read more
Food was pretty good but a little pricey for a grilled cheese and chicken salad sandwich not to mention service was very slow... with no one checking on us while we waited for our order. We waited over an hour for a grilled cheese and chicken salad withoutanyone coming to check on us for drinks or if we needed anything, finally we had to ask a different waiteess about our meal whothen promptly went inside and got a few minutes before they were closing for a private party. if you're going to charge $13 fora grilled cheese I think you should at least check on your customers and give better service. Not one manager or employee cameout to let us know it would be a while or check on us! We love Mount Dora and are there regularly but if you plan on a mealthere plan on waiting for your meal in some very uncomfortable chairs!! Read more
