I've lived in the area for years, but we always have our usual spots for breakfast. We had to go pick something up at a... friend's house and we decided to Google restaurants near me as we were driving to try something new, then looked at somereviews. Mae's seemed to have some good feedback, so we decided to give it a try. Although it's not your typical restaurantset up, the food was phenomenal. I was very pleased with the Tex Mex, as my girlfriend was with the eggs benedict. The foodwas of a high end restaurant quality and very fresh. I will have to leave a better tip next time, because it looked like moreof just a take out place, I only tipped as I would just grabbing a take out, but then I realized you could sit down and beserved. The cashier had to work extra hard taking orders and serving tables. They probably need to hire a couple more people, Ithink there was only one cook and one cashier up front, but they were both very nice. We will definitely be back and this couldeasily become our favorite breakfast location. Read more

Absolutely ????, We had a big group of six and they were able to accommodate us. The eggs were made exactly how they were... ordered and the omelet was filled with beautiful large pieces of Ham. The bread was a delicious and toasty artisan and the baconwas wonderfully cooked. The Biscuits and gravy had a bit of a spicy kick to them, which I loved but some people may not. Read more
I was apprehensive and excited about going to Mae's. I heard the food was just OK. WRONG, the food was delicious. The fried... chicken was seasoned, the french fries were seasoned, and the coleslaw was amazing. I wish I had gotten the coleslaw to go. I did go back to get an impossible burger for my son.
