Reviews for The Glockenspiel Restaurant & Pub in Mt Angel, OR
It's good and the place is traditional German. The food this time was good but not great.
The waitstaff was great. We will not be back. Waited more than a hour. Portions and quality came no where near the price... charged. The BLT with avocado was missing the avocado. Waitress had to bring them separately. The burgers were small and dry. Wewere told they just reopened. Several of us at neighboring tables won't be giving them a second chance. No substitutions, butyou could upgrade sides for $$. I rarely give bad reviews. But this was a major disappointment for my wife's birthday. Read more
We had been looking forward to coming here since we found out our favorite German restaurant in Medford had closed. Sadly, it... looks like the menu options here have been reduced, much like so many others lately. Everything we ordered was well prepared andserved quickly by a very helpful and friendly server. We only wish there had been more authentic German dishes to choose from, they?re really missing an opportunity to stand out. Read more
Another great meal at The Glockenspiel! Had the cabbage rolls and they were amazing. The service and staff are also wonderful... and deliver food with a smile. This place has a certain charm that can?t be met by many other places. It?s a hidden gem out inMt. Angel. Would recommend for a date night as there cocktails are superb. Thank you for everything!!! Our first time here. Food was good, but Spätzle was greasy/oily. Prices were moderate. Menu selection was fairly small. ... Service was good. One area to improved the atmosphere would be to ditch the 70?s music and play German folk songs. Read more

Friendly service but very, very slow. Schnitzel was not actually schnitzel, but a full Pork chop that had not been pounded flat.... Mashed potatoes were terrible, tasted like instant (freeze dried) mashed potatoes. For a $20 plate, instant mash is inexcusable.Potato chips served with sausage roll were noticeably stale. Very low effort and it shows. Read more
