Reviews for Five Guys in Mt Airy, MD
The food is great, but when i arrived there were 2 women and 3 men working. The sign says five guys, but it should really say 3... guys and 2 women. Read more
Five Guys has the best burgers and fries. Always fresh and cooked to order, and the burgers are very customizable. The hot dogs... are good, and a hit with our little one. The shakes are pretty good, but overpriced, in my opinion. We have been to Five Guysmany, many times and have never been disappointed! This particular location is one of the nicest Five Guys I have been to. It isalways clean and has plenty of seating. Read more
Best burger you'll find, just way too expensive. I got a bacon double cheeseburger and a regular coke, which is about the size... of a McDonald's medium coke, and it was $ 16.00. I like their food, but enough to pay those prices again. Read more
Always a great burger. And their fries are the best. Overflowing cups of deliciousness. Peanuts are also a free item to eat... while you wait for your food. Plenty tables to dine at. Clean restaurant, friendly staff ample parking. Read more
I ordered through DoorDash a couple days ago and received a raw burger. Upon calling, they hung up the phone multiple times,... resulting in me having to call four different times, and eventually having to call from a different number. Read more

I have Celiac Disease and Five Guys is one of the few places I will risk eating at since the only gluten in their stores is the... buns and a few of the milkshake mix-ins. All of the Five Guys I've been to so far, I let them know I can't have gluten and theytake many steps to prevent cross contamination in my food. I get my burger on a lettuce wrap, they store the lettuce for lettucewraps separately, they change gloves before touching anything I will eat, they bag my food separate from my partner's, etc.Since it's an open restaurant, you can watch all of the food prep and even though eating out at all poses risks for me, I've hadgood experiences at the stores I've eaten at so far. Not this location. I told the young man at the counter I would like myburger on a lettuce wrap, about my gluten "allergy" and asked if they'd be willing to change gloves to make my food. He seemedto understand my request, we paid for the food and we stepped back to watch. He told the cooks how many burgers to put on butdidn't say a word about an allergy, changing gloves, or anything about a special order to the cooks. The two used the samegloves the entire time to handle buns and my lettuce wrap. They used their gloved hands to scoop onions onto the burger grill, which would contaminate onions for anyone who doesn't want gluten and contaminate all the burgers put on that same grill. I'venever seen that done at another restaurant. They grilled their mushrooms on the same surface as their buns, which I've alsonever seen done at any of the Five Guys I've been to. I did not eat the food I was given at this location and I will not beback. It's one thing for them to stick contaminated gloved hands straight into the onion bin, or cook vegetables on the samesurface as the buns. For 99% of people that doesn't matter in the slightest and even as a Celiac I wouldn't have thrown a fitover it. I'd just not eat the food and avoid the location in the future. The one star review is from my fru Read more
