Jacks was suppose to close at 11 on a Saturday night. I came at 7 to order to order chicken for 5 people. Told me they couldn?t... give me a 20 pice chicken finger or nugget because they were not gonna be cooking anymore chicken and they were open another 4hours. This place is a joke Read more
I must admit, the bad reviews almost kept me from trying this place out. I found out that as it goes with most things reviewed... on the internet, people are more likely to complain than leave a review of praise. I was pleasantly surprised by how much Ienjoyed this Jack's. The food was very fresh and tasty. The staff - phenomenal. I will be coming back next time I'm drivingthrough Moundville and find myself hungry for some quick and delicious comfort food. Read more

I gave Jacks two stars very generously simply because the food is good. What makes the Hwy 69 South Location in Tuscaloosa and... the Moundville, AL locations barely worthy of two stars is their staff. Of all the places to eat in Moundville and Tuscaloosa,I?ve never had such a difficult time placing an order (mostly drive thru) and getting it wrong most of the time than I have hadfrom Jacks. Also the fact that the staff at the window obviously feel they have better things to do than wait on customers. Ireally don?t understand how working for a living or making a paycheck can be so difficult and waiting on customers is so beneathsomeone as it is for the staff at Jacks. Or at least that?s how they make me as a customer feel. They don?t even appreciate thefact that they have a job. This makes the experience seriously less than two stars worthy, but because of the food, I?ve beengenerous.
