Reviews for Whole Enchilada Restaurant in Moss Landing, CA
It was ok. It's not the greatest Mexican food I've ever had and I disagree with the reviews who say it is terrible...it's just... ok. The drinks are good. I wouldn't drive here just for this. It's very convenient when we are staying at the KOA nextdoor. Read more
Had the most epic nachos! Everyone has said how good the food was but I doubted it, given my poor history with Mexican themed... tourist traps. I was so pleasantly surprised to be delighted by my food and the whole experience, (except for trying to get backonto the northbound highway, that sucked.) Read more
Great spot. Wonderful drinks. Food was ok. Shrimp was overcooked, dry and without much flavor. Raviolis were great.
Can?t say we were impressed?just regular Mexican food. Chips and salsa cost extra. Soda glasses are small and no free refills.... Won?t be returning. Read more
The mole was truly delicious with the blend of sweet chocolate and a bit of spice. Gorditas were fresh and seafood enchiladas... were very tasty. Margaritas were fresh and tasty. The owner stopped by to check on us and was very friendly along with his staffbeing attentive. Delicious meal and well worth the trip. Read more
The atmosphere here is great. There is plenty of seating and service is fantastic. Our server was quick and very friendly and... attentive. Unfortunately the food is average and a bit overpriced even for this area. We had the fish and chips and the fish wasgood but the fries were dry and more like shoe string fries. We also ordered "the whole enchilada " and it was just ok. I thinkthe fish was overcooked and suuper bland. They put lettuce on top which wilted pretty quick from the heat and didn't add to thedish. Overall I wouldn't recommend this place but maybe it was just an off day in the kitchen? Read more
Honestly, we were planning to go to Phil's but the line was about 20 people into the parking lot. So, the Whole Enchilada was a... second choice. Reviews were mixed, but we went in with open minds. We wanted to sit on the patio but they seated is inside.Definitely a smell of urine when the breezes stopped. They charge for chips. Sodas are $4 with no refills. And, for a Mexican(Oaxacan) Restaurant, the food was bland. I tasted no cumin. They used parsley, not cilantro. It wasn't bad, it just didn't meetexpectations. Beautiful gardens. I hope they could replace their restroom and put in a tile floor and hire someone to clean ithourly. Read more
