Great smoked meats..pulled pork is my fav..but have barbecue plates with sides..
Sadly after 2 tries, not much to be ordered there as they have hardly anything on menu. And portioning is for a child but yet... priced for a 5 star restaurant . For my wife and myself, 49$ for 2 drinks and 2 very small sandwiches. Let's not add, I ordereda dip sandwich, and the "au jus" tasted like burned salt. That was what I was served. Was my only my second time trying this location. We ordered the 2 for $24 with 2 meats per plate. The food was tasty and I... really liked the Carolina sauce. my only complaint is that I ordered online two hours early and my potato salad was in thewarmer with the rest of my order ???? Read more
Just finished my brisket sandwich and 2 sides. Ordered a drink and had soft serve ice cream for desert. Yum! Yum!
The food is always good but the portions are just way too small compared to other BBQ places.
Have been to Dickeys in Florida, Washington and Denver they all have Free soft serve ice cream. This location does not. If all... locations have it then it is expected. This is a big fail for me. I expect the same thing at every franchise or they should havea big sign on the front door saying this location does not have ice cream. I only noticed after spending $40 for lunch that thislocation was different than all other locations across the USA. And now finding out it is the specific owners choice to notoffer what all other Dickey?s offer it is even more of a disappointment. With a franchise customers expect every and all thingsto be the same at EVERY location. This owner is choosing to be a disappointment and tarnished the franchise name by beingdifferent. By choice. Ok, overall, but not worth the price. Service- We ordered to go. Person that took our order was VERY polite and courteous. Order... was correct upon pickup. Food-Mediocre for the price. Brisket was ok, tender enough, but the meat had that rainbow look/affectmeat gets when it isn't fresh. Turkey tasted like a thick deli-turkey, slimy ????, they are def not using actual roasted turkey.Ribs and chicken breast were acceptable. Really loved the sweet bbq sauce, spicy as well. Sides-Mac n cheese-pretty good. Bakedbeans-meh, I've had sweeter and better. Potato salad-fell flat, tasted very much like a mustard potato salad made from awal-mart deli. Creamed spinach-meh, ok. Stuffed baked potato side, pretty good. We decided to throw in a few, "tacos" to try alittle of everything. They were pretty good, except, at $2.50 a piece, i would expect bigger than we got. Nothing was correct. And the sides are ridiculously priced for such small portions.
