Moss Beach Distillery is full of history, and somewhere that members of my family have been visiting for more than 25 years, so... it is a special place for us. It is located above Moss Beach and has terrific views over the Pacific Ocean. The food isdefinitely old school, and not perfect. My Pesto-filled Salmon was dry and you could barely taste the pesto. The accompanying"seasonal vegetables" were a little overcooked. The mushroom risotto though was very good. My apple tart was a real highlight -sweet without being able too sugary, and with a perfect pastry. But this is a great place for a special occasion and is hugefun. Read more

Had lunch here as it was in the middle of the loop we walked. I thought it was perfect because they don't open until 12pm and we... stopped here on the way back. We were there around 1/130pm on a Saturday and it was already busy. Decided to sit at bar becausewait time was about an hour. Although, we would have preferred to sit outside, we enjoyed the bar. Ordered a drink right awaybut took the food a while to be served. Drink: Berry Crush Appetizer: Crispy Buttermilk Calamari Lunch: Linguine di Mare(pictured) I enjoyed all of it and finished my plate.
