Gambino?s good and bad. The food is very good. The service is good. The bad? I ordered lasagna. They were out of it. OK, that... happens. I then ordered spaghetti. The menu clearly states pasta is served with a slice of garlic bread. We had four orders ofpasta. No one received the garlic bread. We asked our server about it and was told that they were running low on bread and theyhad to save it for people who wanted sandwiches. I asked if there were any substitutions for the bread. Answer was no. Discountsto compensate that the meal was not served as indicated on the menu? No. The server asked the manager to talk with us. When themanager arrived, she had nothing but excuses for us. The restaurant is understaffed and very busy. Staffing and a busyrestaurant aren?t the cause for misrepresenting your menu. It doesn?t cause you to take the bread from my order so that you canmake someone else?s sandwich with it. That?s just wrong. And instead of the manager saying ?we?re sorry for mistakes ?she justsaid ?it?s too bad you?re not having a better experience. ?When I wasn?t happy with that answer she lied to me. She told me thatthe bread was simply complementary and they didn?t have to give it to us. That?s not true. I can read the menu. I hate beinglied to, straight up to my face like that. Then she just turned around and left. No apology, no attempt to make our diningexperience better. This manager has no people skills; too bad. The food is very good at Gambino?s. My suggestion to a diner isto get very clear about what you will be served and what you won?t; because the menu is genuine misinformation. And managementwon?t stand behind their claims. Where do I even start? They tried to seat us in the back corner the temperature was very cold. So we asked to be moved which... they accommodated very nicely. However it went down hill from there. Our waitress, Kelly, was awful. Hardly stopped by ourtable to see if we need anything, I had to ask for a refill of my drink which came out in a smaller glass than the original onewas in. Old glasses were not taken from the table, and my friend didn?t get a water refill for quite sometime even tho ourwaitress had to walk right by our table with a pitcher of water. After about 40 min of waiting for our food we finally asked ifthey forgot about us, and were told that our food is the next. Well some guy came out with the salad for my friend plopped itdown on the table and said here is your ?appetizer salad? we didn?t have any plates even if we wanted to share it and it was adinner salad. She never even stopped by but once to see if we needed anything else at that point we asked for our checks and myfriend asked for a box for his food. She brought our checks and never came by to pick up our cards so we could pay. Finally Iflagged down a guy who ran our cards and we left. On our way out Kelly walked past and no thank you or nothing! Went to Gambino's for dinner last night. Food was good. Service was good. When I gave them my card to pay they came back and... said it wouldn't go through. Gave them my back up bank card and it went through no problem. Checked my accounts when I got homeand noticed they actually charged both of them! Went back today to ask them to fix it and they said they couldn't! Theybasically ripped me off and said too bad! I'll never go there again! Read more
Great service and very accommodating for our large group of 20 people. Amazing food and really great beverages.
I had high hopes from the reviews. I have to say I will pass on my next trip. Italian sandwich came as a cold cut sandwich with... large slices of a french bread. It was very odd. Split pea soup was a pass as well. Cute spot though. Read more
I have opened 13 restaurants, including many Italian. Gambino's was fantastic. Our server Chelsea was one of the best I have... ever had. Her personality was exactly what I look for in a full-service restaurant. The quantity of food was extreme, so plan onbringing home lots of leftovers! Read more
Fast and friendly service. Delicious food and drinks. What I love is they have drinks that made with local flavors like... huckleberries. I almost got the huckleberry martini but decided on the blood orange one instead. It was so yummy! My husband gota Bloody Mary that came adorned with celery, prosciutto, and other things sprouting from the top in high fashion. The food wasso satisfying. I got the thin crust with the mustard sauce topped with pepperoni, pineapple, and jalapeños. My husband got theChicago style with mustard sauce and the combo with sauerkraut. Went to lunch with friends. Really good food. Lots of choices. Very friendly staff. Relaxed atmosphere.
