This place is a diamond in the rough. The food was fresh and succulent. I was expecting a cuisine similar to Mediterranean... cuisine I've had in the past. And while they have the classic Mediterranean Staples of kabobs and wraps, I think this out doesany other food I've had before. Something about the beef wrap made my mouth water days later. Afghan kebab has delicious food and excellent service. I would highly recommend you stop in if you love truly good food that is... well made. We came to the restaurant in a bit of a rush and Yaman was so accommodating to make sure we would keep our tightschedule. Clearly prioritizing customer service, he whipped together some delicious wraps with tender beef and chicken, as wellas a mantu appetizer. It was our first time in, but now we are hooked! So good!! I always come for the afghan sheer chai here. The mantu dumplings were excellent, and the meat was succulent and seasoned well.... Most places have dry chicken but to my surprise the chicken was juicy and tender. The afghan sheer chai at the end sealed thedeal. This is food you can't duplicate at home. So it's really nice to have a place to go for Afghani dishes. And it's even nicer when... the food is freshly made and oh so tasty. I had the Chef's Sampler with the four choices of Aushak, Bourani Badenjan, Mantu, andBourani Kadu, pictured left to right in the photo. Chickpeas in a wonderful sauce were spread over the dumplings, and they addeda bit of crunchy texture to the meal. So delicious! I will definitely be back! Read more

1st timers and we can?t wait to return! So delicious - generous portions and absolutely authentic! The rice with carrot and... raisins was so yummy. The appetizer platter and the lamb and chicken kabobs were so good? Lastly, please please use the homemadehot sauce available by the cutlery! I went there a while back. Had their Beef Shami kabob and hummus on the side. It was my first time trying Afghan food. While... the food is similar to the shawarna, the beef shami is different. Food was authentic and tasted delicious. The only reason I?m not giving five stars is that it is a little bit pricey. I liked... that it serves food that is completely different from other restaurants around. Staff was very nice as well. Restaurant wasclean and comfortable. Read more
