Can't beat the view of the rock. Food is good, not great. Bayside cafe for the food. This place for the view. I had the fish and... chips and the shrimp cocktail. The fish and chips come with different type of fish choices - I am sure my Aunt picked the leastexpensive ones and I was not impressed but a more expensive / thicker fillet might have been better. Love this place. We hit it everytime we come to Morro Bay. Definitely would recommend the fish and chips, scallops, the shrimp... cocktail and above all the oysters are my favorite. BBQ and raw are both to die for. The live entertainment was really good too.Not the best voice talent I have heard but very entertaining and engaging. Read more

Delicious calamari, soups, fish, oysters. Pretty decent wine selections with one option of every type of wine being from the... area, a super nice touch. Seems like a down home local kind of place whereas the other two places nearby seem more touristy. Read more

Tognazzini's is among our favorite local stops. Sitting along the harbor & enjoying the sealife, escaping the inland heat & the... best fish & chips. The cod is light & flavorful & the batter is not as greasy as many others. Read more

Came here on a Monday night for my birthday dinner while we were in town. There was a 30 minute wait at 7pm, but it was worth... it. We went to the dock directly behind the restaurant and saw an otter and seal. We got raw oysters on the half shell, theAdmiral's Combo Platter, and olallieberry pie. Everything was great. The oysters were particularly delicious. Our entree camewith complimentary bread and butter. The bread was warm but the butter tasted a bit off - I think the description said it waswhipped garlic butter but it tasted and looked more like green onions butter. It also came with pickled veggies, which were goodbut not my flavor preference. The Admiral's Combo Platter was good - loved the variety and was big enough to split between twopeople. Read more

This is our second visit since February 2022. It has become our favorite restaurant in Morro Bay. They are very dog friendly.... There is no mask required. It is relaxed casual dining at the wharf with great views. You seat yourself at any table in theoutdoor patio. We like the table at the very end facing the wharf. It's a perfect spot for our two doggies away from otherguests. The staff was wonderful. You order at the counter and they call you when it's ready. Food was awesome. I had the salmontaco, smoked scallop taco and clam chowder. My husband had the fried oyster and chips. Our doggies shared the chicken strips. They brought out a bowl of water for the doggies. There was live music. The artist played acoustic guitar and sang happyrelaxing songs. Read more

Whenever we're in the area, we always make it a point to stop to eat at Tognazzini's. My "regular" is the seafood linguine with... Alfredo sauce. I've tried other things on the menu, which are good, but after doing so, the next time we go back, I always goback to the seafood linguine. We also get the BBQ oysters. They're so yummy! Watch out, though - the menu doesn't lie about themswimming in butter! Try them out for yourselves - you won't regret it! Read more

We had a pair of absolutely delicious shrimp breakfast entrees while enjoying the view of Morro Bay/Rock. The connection with... the commercial fishing community is very strong and this place is definitely popular with the locals. Great service, funpostcard promotion too. Read more
