My wife and I used to love this place. The prices are low and the portions are okay. out of the last 3 times we have gone, only... one was satisfactory. About a year ago, we visited the establishment about 45 minutes before close. The owner gave us attitudeand made a big huff that we were coming in so late. Yeah, okay. Just tell us you guys are closing soon and not give us attitude.The next time we had a good time. A couple weeks ago we went out to eat here. Our server accidentally charged us for the wrongtable on my card. We noticed the issue and brought the receipt up to the cash register for a correction. The lady was nice butshe needed help from the owner? (older gentleman who gave us attitude before) He seemed to be very annoyed that we brought thisup and was not polite at all. He did not apologize for the mix up. While trying to refund our card, he was also very rude to hisstaff. Telling them that the order they are bringing out is wrong and is missing many things. We just didn't get a very goodvibe from this place. You can have a good time here and they do have good food. Just be aware of the things I mentioned. We have loved The Charlemont and its food in the past but we had a second bad experience today. We had a reservation... specifically for the breakfast buffet to make sure we would be served and when we arrived we were told they had closed it. Noexplanation. We had come quite a distance and once again we were disappointed. The staff were trying to be helpful but the ownerwas less then gracious and seemed to want to blame us.
