Looks advertising, right? Well..the food was tasteless and the sauce was watered down. I had to add salt to my food which I... don't EVER like to do!! The calamari needed to be cooked more and the bread was just horrible. I expect way more for the pricesand the atmosphere of this place. The service from my waiter wasn't so great either. I went to Travinia the other night for my birthday. We needed to have a quick dinner, under an hour, and our waitress definitely... met that goal. She was awesome. She brought everything out on time, was attentive and sweet. However, I had to deduct a starbecause of food-related issues. First off, the bread was just...not good. It wasn?t soft or chewy; it felt hard to the touch andit was pretty dry. The best part was the garlic butter they?d spread on top, and that?s the only thing that made it tolerable.Now, I did enjoy my main dish, but my friend ordered the lasagna, an entree that cost a couple dollars more than my meal andcame in the same size dish, and he got maybe half the food I did. It was disappointing. I did enjoy the dessert and drinks butthe issues above did dampen our spirits a bit, so I?m making this review four stars. But overall I still think this is a greatrestaurant and I?ll still be eating at it in the future. I hope they step up their game a bit though! Read more

Just had dinner with some friends and it was the worst experience EVER! The waiter couldn?t get our orders right or drinks which... we waited over an hour for everything. That was not the worse part. He charge each of our cards wrong Twice. When I asked forthe manager that did not help either. He basically said the waiter was new please understand and didn?t compensate us foranything. The waiter just told us ?I tried my best?. I am mad I wasted my time going there after I was told it was not good.Won?t be going back and please if you read this don?t go back. The food is consistently excellent. Very creative and unique menu. A neighborhood restaurant for Cary/Morrisville that is well... worth the trip from any downtown in the RDU area. Hard working staff that really cares. If you are tired of overpriced " olivegarden " type Italian food try this place. Very reasonable prices and the finest quality. Best in town.
