I have very little experience with Indian food, but I found Tower Restaurant to be pleasant and prompt for pick-up during a busy... Sunday evening. The food was excellent as far as my somewhat inexperienced palate could tell. I decided to order several dishesfor myself and my family to try, randomly chosen, and I'm going to describe them below in case you, like me, are also a newbieregarding Indian cuisine. The reviews of each dish include input from people ranging in age from 15 to 20 years old (plusmyself- "very old"). I should say that everyone in my family appreciates flavorful food and vegetables, which should beobvious. Aloo Gobhi: This is a curry with potatoes and cauliflower, and lots of turmeric. We found this to be very tasty withan excellent texture, 4.5/5 for spiciness. Channa Palak: Channa Palak is a curry made of green spinach sauce with chickpeas- wethought it had 4/5 on the spiciness scale, and a great texture at Tower; not too runny, just right. A curry- if I?m notmistaken- is basically a saucy, south Asian dish that often goes over rice and is heavily spiced (not necessarily?spicy?). Kadai Paneer: The Paneer at Tower Restaurant was a nice creamy texture, sufficiently hot, but didn?t have manyvisible green peppers. Very good. 4/5 in spiciness. Paneer is a type of soft cheese that reminds me of tofu but has a lovelycreamy flavor that picks up all the other spices with which it is cooked. We put it over our rice; not sure if that wascorrect. Vegetable Biryani: The vegetable biryani was good, but very very hot. I would have probably enjoyed it more had itbeen a tad less spicy, but that?s not to say it wasn?t excellent for more experienced palates. All family members had some, andonly one let out screams of pain from across the house; the others were completely unmoved, unwilling to show any weakness.Spiciness 4.75/5. Biryani is a mixed rice dish originating from ancient Delhi, and can be made with meat, or, as we had, withonly mix Read more

Tower Indian cuisine is serving south Indian, North Indian as well as other types of vegetarian food. It is situated in... Morrisville, Carpenter road. They serve lunch buffet everyday. Closed on Tuesday. Mid size, standard restaurant with simpledecor. Quite popular amongst Indian community. Ample of free parking in constructed parking lot.. Easy to find location . Thereare other business also like kids classes, Hot yoga, Beauty Parlor, a retail clothing shop, and other two types of cuisines. Itis very close to other shopping locations to Davis drive as well as Morrisville, and other shopping complex. Everything within 1mile from this restaurant. Last Dec. 2018. There is a new owner of this restaurant. There is little change in the decor. Thebooths are gone, cash counter and other serving area has change. There is price hike up in every dishes including buffet. thearrangement for the line to take the food from the buffet station is very awkward. The line is by the main kitchen door which isvery difficult for the server as well as the customers. the server carrying hot food or other dishees, has to be very careful toavoid an accident. When I visited for lunch, I noticed that their salad counter was last and main course counter was first. Idid ask the owner/manager about it. He said he will take care of it. Good food for regular meals. Not overly spicy or oily.average person spends about $ 15 for buffet and about $ 20 for ala cart. NOTE: Itn the beginning, Tower was doing good. We wentagain after almost a year. I am sorry to say but we were very disappointed with the food. We ordered, baby corn mnchurian forappetizer, Rawa dosa with gunpowder, vada with Rasam and vada with Sambhar, chatni. We wanted to order some desert but were sounhappy with service and food. It was Saturday night but only 4 tables were occupied inside and 2 tables outside. In our ordervada came first, everything was cold, than came appetizer in which the corn was uncooked, than came d Read more
