First of all, the service is as great. Our waitress was smiling and friendly. We were really underwhelmed by the food. The... pizza was just OK - nothing special. We tried out Rosati's for the first time last night. We really enjoyed it. The deep dish dough is so delicious and it was baked... the right amount of time to make it slightly crispy. We also really enjoyed the bread sticks. They had great flavor and themarinara sauce was tasty. Will definitely be back! Just forewarning, we got food on a Friday night. They were super busy and wehad to wait about 5-10 minutes past the online order pickup time. Read more
Great Chicago style pizza! The staff is friendly & humble. One 12 inch pizza is good for 2-3 people. 14 inch for 4-5 people. 16... inch for 5+. Trust me, 2 slices and you're done! Loved the rich, chunky, sweet tomato sauce and loaded cheesy goodness - theultimate comfort food! Read more
Holy cow! My wife and I have been looking for Chicago Deep Dish pizza for some time and nothing met our expectations until... today! We drove all the way from Burlington to try it out and it did not disappoint. I could tell you about the pizza and it'sbuttery, full crust and the delicious sauce and toppings. One of the few places open on Easter. We did not care for it. They make the pizza with the cheese on top- like the cheese is the... last topping added?. (see picture) A solid layer of cheese forms and floats on top with all ingredients? just slides off thecrust ?.It does not stick to the crust. What an absolute disaster and disappointment this pizza was. We ordered an 18? thin crust, lots of toppings and requested pie... cut. We got a burnt, COLD, pizza with little to no toppings, crust was soggy, and it cut square. The cut doesn?t bother me asmuch as the fact we paid $40 for a pizza that wasn?t prepared correctly. On top of that, when my husband picked it up, he saidthey didn?t put the order in until he got there and asked about it. They forgot apparently. We got a small cheese pizza for freewith the 18? (promotion), and it was also cold, square cut. The only upside to it was that the crust wasn?t burnt which is how Icame to the conclusion that the crust SHOULDN?T be burnt. All in all, won?t come back. My husband loved this place, especiallyfor the deep dish. Sad to have seen this happen. Read more
