One of the few fine-dining Chinese restaurants in the area. The restaurant is very spacious and elegant. There are many big... round tables and two VIP rooms. Great for having bigger party. I celebrated my birthday here once with 10 people. I like mostof the food I’ve tried. The Pecking Duck is a MUST! You should order the duck bone soup as well if you order the duck. Myfavorite dish is their lamb chops and dry pot cauliflower. But honestly all of the dishes are worth trying. The only downsideis probably the price. It’s definitely on the pricy side for Chinese food. I recommend going with more people if you aremindful of the cost. That way you can try out more dishes with better price. Read more

I came in for my birthday and the ambience was beautiful. The food was so good that I didn’t get pictures but here’s what I... got: Starters: Beef Dumplings/Shrimp Eggrolls (Both were amazing. The beef was full of flavor and juicy. The eggrolls werecrispy and full of shrimp) Entrees: Wagyu Fried Rice (My favorite dish of the night. I love a good fried rice. The beef. Theegg. Yes. Pork Spare Ribs (They were tender and fell of the bone. Literally melted in my mouth.) Peking Duck It was my firsttime having duck and I loved it. The skin is nice and crispy and the duck was so delicious. They come with thin pancakes so Idecided to make mini tacos and YES. The food was Michelin star quality ( FYI there is a Michelin star head chef here!!! ????) I should tell you based on my... experience over the years most restaurants when you bring a homemade cake are not very accommodating. G58 not only celebrated mycake but made it special with a fancy cake stand and candles. We were treated with such kindness from our greeting to our exit. I would definitely recommend ????. Hands down, customer service is outstanding. Our previous server had to leave due to an emergency, however, two servers waited... on us to make sure our needs were met. Both made the experience calm, soothing, and one to remember. The food is extremely wellprepared and very delish. They accommodated me as a vegetarian and offered many fast options. The food and preparations areelegant and the tea selection is innovative and beautiful. It reminds me of a Asian cuisine version of Second Empire. Read more

If anyone wants to have some authentic Szechuan food, here’s a good choice. We’ve been here for several times. Great... atmosphere and service. Peking duck is not Szechuan food, but it’s the best I can have in NC(or the south). Would highlyrecommend boiled fish, and an appetizer made with oyster mushroom. He... explained everything in great detail and was very attentive and sensitive regarding our food allergies. The food was delicious,we had the Peking duck (paired beautifully with the light pancakes, black bean sauce and orange marmalade), Spare Ribs(delicious breadcrumbs mixture), Oysters (crispy and light), Shrimp with mango glaze (so crispy with that delicious glaze,Citrus beef (melt in your mouth), Szechuan pan-seared beef (so tender and delicious), and broccolini. G .58 was excellent. High-End and Chinese are rarely paired with cuisine without some type of fusion attached. This was simply... fantastic and attempted to be nothing beyond Chinese cuisine. Joel was a great server. Soup buns and beef dumplings weregreat. Pork belly entree and seafood medley earned high marks as well. Prices were on the higher end; but you absolutely getwhat you pay for. Every dish we had was delicious. Amazing ??? squares are absolutely my personal recommendation, but be aware there are two sizes... to the order - one with 3 and one with 5. Decoration and ambience in the restaurant was also amazing, and simply dining therewas an experience to be had. Read more
