I'm from out of town. Had dinner there with family and this place is unexpected in a great way. The decor is fitting ti the name... as well as menu item names fitting the theme. Don't take the name at face value they serve many things out side of what you'dthink comes from a cow. Food was great. Seasoned perfectly cooked to perfection and if your looking for unique choices or aplace that has variety and suits everyone this will be the place to go. The GM works right along side the servers and you cantell she loves what she does and the servers you can see enjoy working for her. Different kinda service also. You don't just getone server the manager Sam and the other servers Savannah and Bryce all took turns and that provided exceptional service to thegroup of 8 we had. All can offer there own personal recommendations as well and seem very knowledgeable of the menu. I highlyrecommend you give this place a shot. Read more
Pretty good food, ordered the fish and chips which was surprisingly not greasy & heavy. Instead of fries I had tater tots which... were also tasty. The tartar sauce was great & the slaw was refreshing. Decent spot with patios out front & back as well asindoor dining. Liked it & would come again. Read more
Delicious! The Mac Daddy, the Bison burger, the Stroganoff were all great. Only complaint was too many peppers in the... stroganoff. Nice seating outside and a small creek to walk along while you wait. Waited less than five minutes for a table.Subbed fries for fruit and there was so much fruit! It could?ve been a meal in itself. This is a very small area however it was extremely cute for eating at especially during the Bandimere Speedway area. Despite it... been as packed as it was when we went in AK it was filled to the brim there at the restaurant we still got our food in about 20minutes and it was very hot fresh and delicious. I got the toast with egg and avocado and grilled salmon as a healthyalternative and a late breakfast and the salmon was delicious super oily and tasty for that reason. I enjoyed how they also havethe restaurant advertised on the online tickets so that people can see this. I?m sure all the food is great here but I?m writing about the chocolate malts and hot fudge sundaes - yum! Stopped by 5 minutes... before closing one weeknight and the staff couldn?t have been nicer. They didn?t comment on the tight timing as they were tryingto close, but rather were friendly and prompt and made great quick desserts. The chocolate malt was one of the best I?ve had ina long time - they didn?t skimp on the malt like so many places so it really stayed true to the name. We?ll be back to try therest of the menu! Review update: we came back to try the food and it was great! Do yourself a favor and get the fish and chips!Dare I say they?re the best in the front range?! They were everything you?d want in a fish and chips - came out super hot, thesize of fish is what is should be, served ON TOP of the chips (which so many places miss!), and the chips were very good too!Will 100% be back for those again! We also tried the soup of the moment, which was pozole, and it was very good aswell! Service was top notch as well - we were checked on and served by multiple people frequently and very friendly. I absolutely loved the waffles with blackberries as well as the southern omelet. The coffee was also very tasty, nutty, medium... roast with no acidity afterwards. And the view was amazing. It was a charming place to visit. Their restrooms are FIVE STARclean!! Read more
We stopped by after a hike. I had a nice eggnog milk shake and fish & chips. Portions are very generous and staff was friendly.... Prices are also very good for the value. You don't probably need to travel there for this restaurant but if you're there, youprobably wouldn't regret stopping by and having their food. My friends who ordered their soup and sandwiches said that theirorders were also pretty good. Read more
The food was amazing, I really appreciate that the veggies were fresh cut and not frozen. I also liked how many types of... veggies were included instead of the usual medelly of 3. The chicken fried steak had a home made sauce and mashed potatoes. Theburger was a bison burger, so delicious! The sweet potatoe fries was HUGE we ate it before I got the picture. Kid friendly. Full drink menu, and has its own private parking which is nice. Very close to red rock ampitheatre. I highly recommend. Read more
