First off, great views and location! This is a great spot to stop for lunch while visiting the Red Rock Amphitheater. Even on a... hot day, there?s lots of umbrellas for shade. We made a reservation ahead of time and were seated right away. The peach mimosaand drink special that was a creamsicle drink (can?t remember the name) - were both fantastic. This was a great addition to our concert experience at Red Rocks. First of all, if you have dinner reservations, you get to skip... the lines and enter the venue early! Guests with dinner reservations are admitted 5 mins prior to their reservation. So thiswas big benefit. The menu at the Ship Rock Grille is fairly limited to allow them to serve quickly and efficiently -- whichthey did. It wasn't overly creative, but it was solid. I had steak tacos and my friend had a grilled chicken sandwich. Bothmeals were prepared well and tasty. But, perhaps, not memorable. The overall experience earned the 5-star rating. Red Rocks isphenomenal and adding dinner and early entry to the experience made it worth while. Just don't expect too much from themenu. If you plan to go, you will want to make your reservations in advance. While they do take walk-in guests if spaceallows, you won't get early entry and would have the join the line and the crowds to get in. So plan ahead forreservations! You are charged a $25.00/person deposit for the reservation. This is applied against your meal/drinks when youpay your bill. But if you don't show up, you lose your deposit. Enjoy the experience! Making a reservation at Ship Rock Grille before the concert was a great idea. The food was pretty reasonably priced for a music... venue, however, I only got to order and eat the pretzel bites because the amount they gave me could feed a whole family. I kidyou not there were 30 pretzel bites. I was looking forward to ordering the turkey wrap, but couldn?t because I was so full ofpretzels. be warned that the pretzels bites come in size 30. still a very good place and the servers were nice. The view from this place is worth going to!!!! Sit outside and enjoy it. I ordered a burger and fries, it was pretty good, not... amazing. The bacon was pretty to add onto it. My server was friendly and gave great service. Read more

They could have their waitstaff go through the motions serving lukewarm... microwaved food while doing the bare minimum to feed their captive audience. Instead, they really seem to care about providingexcellent service and very quality food in a beautiful setting! Ricky made the visit extra special - it's clear that he loveshis job and tries to connect with every single person that he talks to.
