An Italian standby that has been around a long time. Can't really go wrong here. Food was solid and portions were above average.... Service on a slow Monday was slow enough to be annoying. Read more

Appetizers were great for our large party, 2/3 steaks were super overcooked and salmon was very dry and overcooked. Very nice... staff. Read more

I was pleased. Dinners were presented nicely and were tasty. The hostess was sweet and the service was good. Prices were... pretty much as expected. My only criticism would be if I order tortofu for desert expect to get a whole tortofu not a half. Unfortunately this seems to be the norm in a number of restaurants these days. I guess they are so stinking expensive they can'tafford to give you a whole one anymore without charging a fortune for it. All in all I would definitely go back. Read more

Scouting for the Pizza Hunters App, stopped in for my first slice ever from Village Pizza. The dining area was very clean and... welcoming. Definitely had to be one of the cleanest places in Morris County Pizza for sure. The people were very friendly andprovided excellent customer service. $2.14 gets you a plain slice, whic is very small in size. The slice was mainly all crust, needed more sauce and cheese for sure which would have made it better. It was an average slice, fill yout belly type slice. Read more

We live locally and walked to the restaurant to enjoy a great meal in their outdoor area. Service was wonderful and the food was... amazing! As we were finishing dessert, a rainstorm started and we needed to head inside. As we paid the bill, the restaurantowner asked if we were okay to make our way home in the rain. When we explained that we lived locally and that we had walked, they offered us a ride home. The restaurant owner drove us home and wouldn't accept a tip. We will absolutely dine at VillageRestaurant & Pizzeria again! The food is great, and the service is outstanding! Read more

Five of us stopped in for a late lunch on a Saturday. We had different pasta dishes and everyone was pleased with the... presentation, flavors and portion sizes. Some really flavorful sauces without being too salty. Portions were so big that 3 ofus couldn't finish. Service was polite and attentive. Restaurant was clean and comfortable. Will definitely return.
