My husband and I dined here this evening. This is the first time we have been back since their reopening after Covid. We thought... they closed to renovate, but we were mistaken. The restaurant had an unpleasant odor, and the food just tasted weird. Neither ofthese issues were ever an issue when we visited historically. They should consider hiring a cleaning company to perform a deepcleaning. Their chandeliers over the table had cob webs all around it and the ledge of the window at our table hadn?t beencleaned in some time. Sadly we will not be returning. Read more
We came here to check out the salad bar and it did not disappoint! It's all you can eat - I made a really good salad my first... round, then went back to try the pasta salads and potato salad. Yum! And it came with a soup - I got tomato and got some goodrolls from the salad bar to dunk. Oh and the bakery!! ???? Everything we had was delicious. Read more
So sad. This used to be an awesome place... 20 years ago. Like many places they can't get staff. Last night they could only seat... 7 tables at a time. They had staff and bus boys waiting tables. Not sure who was cooking. My tenderloin could have been greatbut, it was cooked too hot and was raw in the middle. Very dated. Needs an interior facelift. Read more
Breakfast lunch and dinner. Amazing. OMG..I hate Pot pies. But I was told by several truckers to try it...mind you I have a... degree in culinary Arts and chef for 10 years. My husband use to drive truck and said that this place always had good food and homemade items for sale. After all these years... it was good to see and taste that it hadn't changed. The biscuits and gravy were excellent. Both were home made. Biscuits werefluffy and soft while the gravy was not greasy or overly spicy. The eggs also tasted fresh and were cooked correctly. Theatmosphere of the restaurant was quiet and laid back. Our waitress Jessica was friendly and attentive. The decor gave you plentyto look at while waiting for your food, which by the way, came quickly. Read more

Finally, this place was open. Been here for the third time it always close since pandemic. Food was good, that potato soup was... delicious not overcook. My fried chicken was fresh and tasty, so crunchy and that French fries was my favorite way better fromother truck stop. My husband ordered a Reuben he also like it.
