Compared to other Shoney's, I found this one lacking. The food selection never changes. They always try to push the menu options... on you. The food bar is small and the atmosphere is meh at best. Skip it and go to Bob Evans nearby. Read more

Overall food & service was ok, but the Father's day buffet was overpriced considering the limited selections offered...no steak... or real seafood, only meatloaf and fried whitefish, but the spareribs were really tender & juicey with the perfect amount of BBQsauce. My family and myself went to Shoney?s on Sunday. No menu was given when we got there and wasn?t advise that they was charging... the bar prices to dinner prices. Just to say one thing. We went to Outback the night before and it was $30.00 cheaper thenlunch at Shoney?s that was steaks dinners. The service was good. Just let your customers know about your prices. Not a good experience, we were traveling and wanted to stop, rest and have a good lunch. When we went in we were told they... could only take cash, their computer was down. Then we couldn?t order off the menu. We got the buffet, no bread at all. Grosslooking meatloaf and catfish. Congealed gravy. The fried chicken was good. Read more

Had the hot chicken sandwich and didn?t expect much. Especially in the way of heat, but I was pleasantly surprised. The sandwich... was super tasty and juicy. The heat was obvious from the very first bite till the last. If you have a weak stomach or sensitiveto heat don?t buy this it?ll get you. The waitress was very friendly and attentive and the restaurant was clean and neat. My big???? was when it came to the restroom. They were using those old crank handle paper towel dispensers. I haven?t seen those since1979. Those are so gross and unsanitary I can?t believe anyone still has those. Geez. But that aside, I would go out of my wayto get another sandwich. Read more
Went in at 10 am 10/23/22 for breakfast, place was busy but there were several tables open so it wasn't extraordinarily busy,... got seated and 20 minutes passed still no waitress came to take our drink orders so I looked up other restaurants nearby and atthe 25 minute mark we got up and left. I come to Morgantown often but I will never visit Shoneys there again. Verydisappointing. Read more
