I was excited to visit this restaurant. However this turned to be very disappointing. The restaurant did not have staff to clean... tables which attracted more flies. My thought why didn't the waitresses who stood around waiting for orders clear thetables????????. It was not a pleasant sight.. Food and drink was just ok. Read more
What a Gem! Driving through West Virginia we needed a dinner stop. Saw this place on the map and figured why not. Friday night... we were seated right away. Outdoor dining with a great view. The food was amazing and our bill was less that we would haveguessed. They even had a live band the day we visited. Would highly recommend. Read more
We enjoyed our dinner here. The shrimp tacos did not disappoint, but the stay of the show was the cheese fries loaded with... pulled pork. We also got the pear gorgonzola appetizer that was delicious. Service was good and the view was very pretty. Onlynegative is the parking situation. It's really tight. Read more
I?d love to rank this place better than one star however my wife and I didn?t get addressed after we were sat. All the servers... walked around us, paying attention to everyone else but we sat there for a half hour with our menus and beer (from the bar)without even being addressed (not even a water). So, we just left. The hostess had seated people around us, every table aroundus was attended to by a server???????? So, if you?re looking for somewhere to eat go to Lake House, or Tropics and skip thisplace because Dockside will probably skip you. Read more
Visited Dockside for the first time last week and had a fantastic experience. Sat at the bar and our bartender Laurel was super... personable and knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. I got the lobster roll (per her recommendation) and was notdisappointed. Will definitely be returning! Read more
Perfect WVU graduation dinner spot. Beautiful lake, outdoor seating for our large family. Great job!
First of all this place is awesome and very close to the lake. As you drive towards the restaurant you are greeted with awesome... scenery. They have valet for parking which is also great for convenience as parking is limited. We ordered flat bread and tacosas shareables and they were quite a portion and very easy to share between 5 people. The food came out in timely manner as welland we ordered fish po'boy sandwich, mushroom and Swiss burger, Brazilian brisket, and pulled pork dishes. They were all greatwith complaints. Our waitress and our food were wonderful. We were very disappointed that the fall flight listed on the Oktoberfest menu wasn't... available... yet. It's October 14. Also wasn't able to get strawberry ale either but I think they were tapped out. Love thelocation as it still has great views all year around but this is my second visit and Dockside has failed to wow me. Enjoyed themenu more when it was still Crab Shack. We did enjoy our dinner, conversation, and the atmosphere. Read more
