Down home style meals, very tasty, generous portions and good service. Our meals were served very quickly, at least as quickly... as some FAST FOOD places these days. I had two medium sized chicken breasts, hashbrown casserole, steamed broccoli served withcornbread and sweet tea. My wife got grilled chicken tenders, baked apples ,steamed carrots with biscuits and a Coke. They'redesserts looked and sounded great but our meals were so big neither of us had room for dessert. The overall atmosphere was wonderful. The food was delicious as always. I had the fried chicken with Mac n cheese and turnip... greens. The greens were spectacular! The staff was very polite, professional and courteous. I like the shopping area but one canget carried away because they have so much to choose from. Read more
The "B" as many frequent patrons call it is a chain of very family friendly southern inspired restaurants with decent food and... reasonable prices. Some selections are even healthy. Large portions that can be shared. If you are traveling by car, this is agood place to stop if you want to avoid fast food and want easy access to major highways. Read more
Desiré was my waitress. Perfect service, great demeanor, quick smile. Was a real pleasure, and.... I trust.... CrackerBarrel... appreciates having a personality like her be the face to their customers! My order today was Grandma's Breakfast. The pancakeoption was really good. Crispy edges on light flakey cakes, with that great bottle of warmed maple syrup. My eggs and hashbrownswere quite filling as well. The restaurant was clean, staffed with smiling faces, and well lit. Cracker Barrel was everything I wanted in a restaurant but never got until I went to Cracker Barrel. The food was so amazing and... gourmet like something i?ve never had before. Food was delicious as always. Grandson tried steak for the first time. Loved it. The chicken & dumplings are a must for every... visit, even if it's just as a side. Service is always fast. You never get tired of looking at the historic items on the walls.Don't get me started in the shopping! I buy at least 1 or 2 Christmas presents there every year. Old school vintage childhoodcandy & memory items next to new fantasy snow globes or albums or Tshirts & Candles and so much more. Plan on an hour for yourmeal and another hour shopping.
