Here is a couple of pictures me and my son took at Blue 42s Burger Bar! We REALLY enjoyed it. We were in town for other reasons... and decided to stop here for supper, and it was some of the best food we have ever had. We live in Mt.Airy, witch is 2 hoursaway. I love this place, best burgers in town and they now offer delivery through sidecar! Stuffed burgers are amazing and those... dipper fries are to die for. First delivery order was great at first I was ticked that the wings were all drumsticks until Irealized they threw in 5 extra wings to make up for it. Awesome as always!! Read more
Our food was absolutely delicious!! Everything was made exactly how it should?ve been! Everything in the burgers was so fresh... and beautiful! I was here about a year ago, but I can't find where I made a post about this place, so I will give Blue 42s its just... accolade. This place knows what they're doing with burgers. Let's just start with the burger patty itself. It can best bedescribed by my wife, who said, "the burger itself is sooooo goooood". A lot of times, when I go to a burger place, I will geta simple cheeseburger, just to see if they can do that well. Seasoned well, the patty provides a good base in which to buildaround. Now, there are different things Blue 42's offers to add onto the burger, including a build-your-own. And they offer alunch special with chips and drink that is reasonable. For this trip, I tried the "Got Smoked". This gem of a burger has smokedGouda Mac and Cheese with apple wood bacon. The Mac and cheese would make a great side on its own. In fact, I would eat that fora meal. Add in the 2 ample bacon slices, and this is one heavy, delicious gut-filling meal. Comes with fries or chips and othercondiments & veggies come with it, if wanted. My wife had the "Set Hut", a Swiss, mushroom and grilled onion burger and waspleased. She took half of it home. The place itself is small with almost a dive bar feel. 4 regular-sized tables, a longertable, plus 2 high top tables that can seat probably 6 comfortably. Outside seating also available. Onion ring tower as astarter was good with 3 dipping sauce (I loved the mustard) and the fried green beans looked appealing. Excellent wait staff totake take of things. Highly recommend this place! Great selection. We ordered our burgers as bowls and it said they would be chopped up, they weren't and the piece of paper they... used between the plate and food was not needed. Made it hard to eat so we removed it ourselves. The waitress was having issueswith the hand held they use. It was a very cute place and they utilized the space well.
