Reviews for Ladera Grill in Morgan Hill, CA
I ordered Asian Chicken salad it was ok. I didn’t like the mango was bitter and they put too much sauce so it was very sweet I... would say it was more like desert not healthy salad. However, I also ordered Alaskan Salmon which was served with yummy veggiesand white rice, the second plate was also just as tasty Chicken veggies and the best tasting mashed potatoes I’ve evertasted!! It was worth going! Read more
This was a great place for dinner. The food, service and atmosphere were all good. The plate presentation was nice as well. ... We stayed out with the cocktail, one was the jalapeno margarita, the other was some pineapple thing (I forgot the name). Bothwere very good. We also had the kobe appetizers which were really good. For the main section we tried one of the specialswhich was the paella. I've had plenty of paella before and this one was good. Overall this was great. The only reason Ididn't give it a 5 star is because the price was on the higher end but I guess that was expected as this was not a every dayrestaurant... The other thing that bothered me was the fact that you had to walk through a hallway to get to the bathroom. Inthis hallway is what appeared to be where they prepare the silverware and maybe a few other things (hopefully, no foodpreparation as people are walking through it) Having said all of that I would recommend this restaurant if you are looking for agood place in Morgan Hill that has a pretty good variety of things on the menu. The food and service was excellent. I was in town for a wedding. Nice place.
After we arrived on time, we were seated and provided with menus. We then spent 26 minutes waiting for service. Patrons who came... in after us were attended to before we were finally acknowledged. We addressed this with the server, Alfredo, who checked inwith us. . He was apologetic and attentive. The caprese salad was perfect. My scallops were slightly over-cooked, but overall, the dish was delicious. The sea bass was very nice. Alfredo saved the day. We were 4 minutes away from leaving and posting a1-star review. Read more
The food: I really enjoyed my chicken fettuccine alfredo. If you're expecting a heavy, savory, one-dimensional alfredo sauce,... then this one might not be for you. If you approach this dish with an open mind, though, you'll be pleasantly surprised by thearray of ingredients and flavors. The star of the dish, in my opinion, is the sun dried tomatoes. I was a bit skeptical atfirst; after all, alfredo is a white sauce. But the tomatoes added none of the sourness and acidity I feared. What they didcontribute? Tons of umami, which blended excellently with the dish and added an unexpected depth of flavor. The sauteed onionswere a nice addition, too. The service and atmosphere were both good. My entree did come out before my appetizer (bruschetta),but mistakes happen, and my entree was plenty filling even without the appetizer. Read more

Food was great. Service not so much. New York steak cooked correctly, pork Osso Bucco fantastic, Mary's Organic Roasted Chicken... great. I think our server judged us and decided that we probably wouldn't be good tippers so based service on that. Not terriblebut lacking for sure. Read more
I was at Ladera with my mother and asked her what advice she’d give herself if she was my age. I was waiting for her to drop a... wisdom bomb on me and after a few moments she answered, “hire a cleaner”. I was a little disappointed with her answerbecause I selfishly asked to figure out what I should do with my life. While hiring a cleaner would definitely make my roommateshappier, I don’t think it would be life changing for me. I get why my mother wanted that, she already had a kid and wasworking 60 plus hrs a week at my age. I guess I wanted her answer to give me insight on my life. Maybe something like, “tryshrooms, it’ll give you the perspective you need”. Or “don’t get married till you’re 35 at least”. Or “stopre-watching the office. At this point you could have been speaking multiple languages and playing multiple instruments if youdidn’t waste so many hours on one show”. Anyway, I may have not gotten the advice I wanted to hear, but I still had a nicetime at Ladera with my mother. Read more
