Disappointed to try a restaurant with waffle in the name and find tasteless waffles. Husband ordered plain and I ordered the... bacon/apple/cheddar, which supposedly had the bacon and cheddar ?baked in? (according to the menu). I received a cold waffle(didn?t even melt the cheddar on top of the canned apple pie filling they piled on) and I ate 1/2 of the waffle finding zerocheddar or bacon baked in. I asked my husband how his waffle tasted (noticed he wasn?t eating it either) and he said ?I cantaste the syrup?. We won?t be back. Read more

Country Waffles has never disappointed us....their breakfasts are AWESOME. And, their lunches are AMAZING!!
What a surprise! We thought this restaurant would be like a ?Denny?s? but were completely impressed. We?ve been twice now, and... both times the food and the service were great at this family owned restaurant. The garden omelette was delicious, and theAmerican Potatoes were outstanding. I ordered Chicken and Waffles Benedict with fresh fruit and cranberry juice for breakfast. My kids ordered a smiley face pancake... with fresh fruit and the other ordered mini pancakes with hash browns. The kids serving portions were much bigger than my "adultfood." When they first brought my cranberry juice, the color was rather light, so I figured maybe someone messed up. I asked foranother juice because the first cup was just colored water, with no taste of cranberry whatsoever. The second cup was nodifferent, but because our service was terrible, I did not bother asking for another cup. Being busy is no excuse for terribleservice. This restaurant is a ma and pop restaurant, so if you are looking for something nice, eat elsewhere. Read more
Went to the new Country Waffels today. A little bit of a wait about 25 mins to get in. Service was good a bit of wait(very... busy), but not too bad. Good was great, my wife had the Florentine eggs Benedict very tasty and I had the chicken and waffles.The chicken was crispy yet tender. Price was very reasonable. We will go back. Read more
Their breakfast is what's up! So fresh and delicious not to mention the price is super reasonable. Kids menu makes it easy to... take your little ones out with favorites. Now they have dinner too! As much as I love this place. I will say their breakfastovershadows any other types of food. But it's not bad. Slightly better than some diners. But pretty average. So I'd most likelypick almost any other option than here in MH. Consider it better than Dennys but not better than IHop? Read more
