We found Chacho's while staying the night in Morgan Hill while travelling. We could not have been more pleased! The atmosphere... on the patio was warm and welcoming with live music and friendly staff. The food and libations were top notch. Completelyrecommend this location. Read more
Pretty disappointed with the service. My family and I walked in and the atmosphere seemed really fun and the drinks looked... delicious. We ordered and sat down outside, we noticed that other people were getting their food but we just thought we wouldbe patient. 45 minutes later still no food, not even our chips and salsa we ordered. When asked about our food the lady saidthey were waiting on one more item.. when clearly they just forgot about us (we saw multiple people that got their after us gettheir food first) won?t be going back. This place deserves these 5 starts! When we first arrived it wasn?t what I expected. I was expecting the traditional get seated... by the hostess, order from the server, etc. but when you walk in you actually order at a cashier and then it?s open seating. Ona busy Friday night the line was out of the door but once we got close to the cashier we were able to get a table luckily. Weordered and paid at the counter and sat near a large tv with sports on. This place was so busy so food took a bit but reallynot that long considering. Everything was AMAZING! Like seriously the best Mexican food I?ve ever had. Literally everythingabout the food was perfect and our bar drinks were perfect too! I?d also like to acknowledge the manager who stopped by ourtable at the end of our meal to check in with us and help clear some dishes. We had a toddler who made the usual mess and as Iwas cleaning he said ?that?s not your job. You came here to enjoy yourself. Not clean.? To me he made us feel so welcome. Wewill be back!! Read more
This is my second time going to a Chachos. First time was in San Jose, wasn't impressed by the food, it is definitely not... authentic Mexican food, it?s lacking the flavor and spice our food is known for, but we went for the drinks so I didn't muchcare. Went again today but to this location and still was not impressed. I got shrimp nachos and they were absolutelyflavorless. Even adding salsa did nothing, the salsa was also lacking flavor. I got a mangolada, these are blended anywhere elseI've gone but here they serve it over ice. My honey got the chicken flautas, these were actually decent but the rice and beanswere like everything else, mediocre. We went with my boyfriend's family and his sister had to ask multiple times for her orderof tacos. It wasn't until the 3rd or 4th time that they finally told her there was a few orders ahead of hers and it was goingto be another 10 minutes. I'm not sure why it took multiple times to get that information. Be prepared to overpay for all ofthis mediocrity. The service was nothing impressive, the outdoor area we got wasn't covered so there was stuff from the treesfalling into our food and drinks. Unless you are looking to spend $13-$15 on drinks, I would recommend going elsewhere for abite. Read more
My friend is going through a tough time right now. His favorite taqueria is currently under construction. This taqueria was a... huge support system, it's where he would get his comfort food. Not having this support system just makes tough times eventougher. It's kind of how I felt when the Office left Netflix. It helped me cope with so many tough times. Sometimes I wish Icould watch the Office on Netflix to help me deal with it not being on Netflix anymore. Anyways, I tried to comfort my friend asmuch as possible, but nobody can comfort you like your favorite comfort food can. I ended up suggesting we try a new taqueria toget his mind off the old one. We decided to go to Chacho's. We really enjoyed the food, but my friend seemed to still bethinking about the old taqueria. At least he knows there are more fish in the sea...I guess more taquerias on the land. Read more
My husband and I decided to give this a try during their soft opening. They are serving food, but it will be a little while... before alcohol is available. We both really enjoyed our meals. I had the tortilla soup, the 1/2 size was plenty for lunch andcame with 3 tortillas. Great taste to the soup, nice crunch from the tortilla strips. My husband had the Chili Colorado, fullplate of food and good amount of meat. Tasted good, and he would order it again if we returned. I can't wait for this place toget up and running, the patio is fantastic and will be a hit when the warmer weather returns. Read more
Last night I was having dinner with my mom & sister when we had an unexpected visitor. I asked for the manager, they weren?t... there. The bartender girl came to our table and killed the critter. I asked again if there was someone I could speak to she tookmy name and number and said they would call me. Well I won?t be eating at this establishment. Just a heads up . Read more
