Staff is instructed to lock restroom doors at certain hours of the day due to an influx of school kids. I?m not a school kid,... seems unfair that as a paying customer I am treated in this manner. Asked the staff if the doors were locked and I was told thatthey cannot open them due to all the school kids present. A rude business practice. I love this place. The sandwiches are delicious not rubber like Starbucks and the lavender honey cupcakes( when available) are... heaven on earth, they are delicate in flavor and not overbearingly sweet. Read more

Best coffee in town.... I love that it's family owned but i have a feeling that they're not taking care of their employees.... There has been a shift in service in the last year. I also know that I live in a community with a bunch of entitled Karen's whoare also soul snatching and leave these barista drained. So sometimes they're just pushing through their shifts trying get me myAMAzing Horchata cold brew)... But today my ice coffee was literally ICE coffee... My partner and I just discovered this place over the weekend and I must say it?s a new favorite?. Borderline obsession? We?ve... been here 4 times over the last three days? OOPS! But yeah. I went to this restaurant to purchase a pastrami sandwich for a patient. The sandwich was extremely greasy, the pastrami was... dark brown and dried out. I had not purchased from this restaurant before, and I don't have any intention of purchasing again. Ihad to throw away a sandwich that was not edible. My patient was disappointed as well. Read more

This store is not being managed well at all anymore. Today, Sunday 7/31, stopped in ordered 3 drinks and 3 danishes. Had to wait... quite awhile just to order. The lady that appeared to be in charge spent so much time talking and distracting the other workersa line built up. When she finally decided to at least do something she started heating up the sandwiches for the couple that wasin line ahead of us. Instead of directing one of the other workers to grab our danishes she decided to stand there and carry ona conversation with her. The drinks for the couple in front of us in line had gotten their drinks and were waiting for thesandwiches. Our 3 drinks came up still not food for the couple or our danihes. For those of us that have been to ALL of thecupcake and expresso bars, yes including the one in Redlands, that never happens! The drinks take longer then the food. Now tomake matters worse when I got my 3 drinks one was completely wrong and when she ,the talking manager, was finally bring the hotsandwiches over heard us asking what that drink was because I ordered a hot drink and this clearly was not she asked if shecould remake it for me.....Like I have time to listen to more of your conversations. Got my danihes grab 2 of the 3 drinks andleft. Did not ask for a refund for the drink or the tip. My daughters and I had plans and it wasnt to stand there another 30minutes to listen to her. 2 things I would recommend for this store now.... 1) DO NOT LEAVE A TIP BEFORE YOU GET YOUR ORDER ATTHAT STORE! 2) Look around and see whats going on with the workers at this store. If they are just standing around talking andyou dont have 30 minutes to wait you might want to go elsewhere. While your watching them you might want to look and see foodyou want is even there basic cupcakes aren't even there most of the time now.
