We always enjoy the food. Any plate you order is fresh and tastes wonder. I just wish the service was more friendly and able to... make you feel welcome. Over the years we feel the lost touch of service and warmth it had many years ago. Service is not bad orterrible just lacking a smile and or a warm greeting when you arrive. No thank you from the waiting staff when you are ready toleave. The waiting staff does a great job of taking your order, bringing you your food and plates, beverages and extras butsorely lacking is a joyful experience and a better customer interaction. Read more

I can't say enough about the Dragon House. I've been eating here for 25+ years, and I've never had a bad experience. To start,... the food is excellent. Of special note are the spicy beef and the seafood hot and sour soup. I'm also a big fan of the honeywalnut shrimp. But honestly, anything you get will be among the best versions of that dish. But as great as the food is, theservice is even better. The service staff are among the most professional and efficient of any restaurant in the area. German cockroach infestation!!! I just ordered soup and crispy noodles to go. I frequent this restaurant often but never ever... again! I got home, opened up the noodles and a German cockroach was inside the bag.. alive! Eew like seriously disgusting, fouland totally unacceptable! I immediately brought all the food back and demanded a refund. It was obvious that the hostess wasaware of their infestation? gross! They need to be shut down. Read more
We go to Dragon House every year for my Beloved?s Birthday which is today. Today we ordered the roasted duck. It was very dry... with the appearance of being cooked yesterday and then reheated when we ordered it. It wasn?t moist, it wasn?t juicy, and itdidn?t taste fresh. We know this because of ordering it elsewhere and it never has come as it did today at the Dragon House. Wealso ordered the Mushu pork and the wraps were cold and not steamed as they should be. In addition, we ordered the wor wontonsoup, sweet-and-sour chicken, and the chicken chop Suey. These three dishes were great. We won?t be ordering the roasted duck orthe Mushu pork in the future because of this disappointment today. Though they have... been through different management over the years, one thing remains the same: the food never disappoints. Sure, you?ll pay alittle more compared to local Chinese restaurants but what you?re investing in is quality. One thing to note is I?ve tried mostof the dishes they offer and have even used Dragon House to cater our family events several times over the years. My personalfavorites I order each time are: * Sweet & Pungent Shrimp * Chef?s Special Pan Fried Brown Noodles * Fish Fillet with SzechuanSauce * Assorted Seafood Sizzling Plate * Fresh String Beans with Chef?s Special Sauce Other loved dishes: * Shrimp Lo Mein *Special Mandarin Chicken * Spicy Seafood Fried Rice * Dragon House Fried Rice * Sautéed Spinach * Pork Mushu * Jade Beef *Shrimp Chow Fun * Mongolian Beef * Crunchy Noodles (appetizer for the kids) * Shirley Temple (the only time or place I?ll drinkthis) There is only one other Chinese-American establishment that comes close to their food ? that I also personally enjoy ?and that?s China Point off Archibald in Ontario. No other place in the city or county has the quality I enjoy from DragonHouse. The ambience is great here: white table linen, booths, instrumental music, and the best fortune and almond cookies (Amaybrand)! The staff who have been here for years are wonderful. If you haven?t tried Dragon House yet, give them a try! Anddon?t order something plain like Beef with Broccoli, LOL. Pro Tip: Come with a group so you can try various dishes and share!And be sure to tip well! Omg good food. I placed in phone order, and when I arrive my food took about 5 minutes. The food was hot. When I got home about... 20 minutes later it was still hot and so good. The portion size was enough for two. The staff was great! The place was full andclean. Would go there again. Read more
Food is usually okay. But this time I ordered the dinner shrimp and lobster sauce. I was a little concerned when it came to my... table within 4 min..
