Food was fine -seems like the menu has less options than before. Lot of sandwiches burgers and things like that not as many... entrees. However the service was fantastic. The server was very helpful and courteous and attentive. The manager went beyond andmade sure we were happy with where we were sitting we got us a seat in the bar. Not sure about the quality of this place anymore I remember it being really really good and it was always a great experience... especially ordering the appetizer sampler. But this last time I went everything was just basic and they didn?t have no morewonton tacos so that was kind of disappointing. Service was OK restaurant was clean there was no parking at all so that was kindof a hassle but besides that I don?t know how to feel about the food. I don?t know if I?ll give it another try maybe if I doit?s going to be ribs nothing else. I did order a Shirley Temple and that was pretty tasty but my food was basic. I ended upgoing with the cilantro lime chicken bowl and the best thing about it was the rice. Again I won?t be ordering anything else offthe menu if I do go back. Read more
This was like dinner and a show today. We had a good laugh with Luis and Michael. They were super nice. Luis came and checked up... on us often. He didn't feel like he was using a customer service voice, he just seemed like he was being himself. The food wasalso really good. Michael was kinda enough to fix something for us and when we apologized for it (though it wasn't our fault) hemade it a point to reassure us that he wanted us to have a good time. Once we were actually noticed and seated by the host, the appetizers we ordered were brought out quickly and they were quite... good and tasted freshly made. It's Applebee's. What else can I say? Their seating policy regarding the booths in the bar area needs to be reevaluated. The... policy is not ADA friendly and most likely violates ADA laws. Seating in the bar area is open seating so if there are empty hightop tables or empty seats at the bar you are free to seat yourself. The open seating policy no longer applies to the boothslocated in the bar area apparently. When did this change? I don't think it's always been this way. We went there during happyhour for the appetizers & drink specials which are only available in the bar area. At first we decided to take a seat at the barbut chose to move to an empty booth so that my husband, who is permanently disabled due to several back injuries, would be morecomfortable. As soon as we sat down a manager approached us who proceeded to lecture us quite loudly and tell us that thosebooths were in fact not open seating and that we would have to be put on the wait list for a booth. We explained that we hadbeen sitting at the bar, which had no wait, but needed to move because the bar stools were aggravating my husband's debilitatingback pain so why would we need to be placed on a wait list if we were already originally at a seat which had no wait and thisbooth had been empty for a while before we even moved to it? Would it have made a difference if my husband was in a wheelchairbecause maybe I should have gotten it out from the car? The point we were trying to make was if there were open seats with nowait where we wanted to be seated (the bar) but were unable to continue to utilize due to substantial disabilities, how is itfair to then require us to be put on a wait list for a table that can accommodate my husband's disability when there was alreadyan empty table? Nevermind the fact that we had ordered our food while we were at the bar and were waiting for it so what did heexpect us to do about that? It was just a mess and we ended up leaving.
