Excellent food, fresh and great combinations of ingredients. Kathleen was equally awesome. The salad with the crusted feta was... so good. The steak with lobster potatoes was very good too. Poached Halibut melted in my mouth. Crab legs were sweet, fresh andfun. We'll be back again! Read more
Not good. This is supposedly a 5 star resort however this restaurant does not do it justice. Wonderful stay at the cottages... but the dining experience was disappointing. Service was slow and not experienced. The $16 salad with warm goat cheese had abrick of breaded almost cold goat cheese on it. Pasta had mixed reviews. Chicken tenders and hot dog from kids menu wasstandard fare. Menu was very limited. Holy Cow down the road at Morell is a better option. Read more
We had an amazing meal at David?s Restaurant. We enjoyed the salad with candied pecans and goat cheese, the sirloin with mashed... potatoes and generous chunks of lobster, and the pork tenderloin with roasted root vegetables. The service was attentive andquick and our meal was the highlight of our anniversary celebration. Gorgeous property, gorgeous food! Read more
Hotel was great but Davids at crowbush was not at the same level. We waited 25 minutes for a server during breakfast and in... that time I served myself water. When we got up to leave that was when we were offered service. With so many great eatingoptions around Prince Edward Island David's needs to learn a few things. Read more
We had dinner at David's on Saturday night, a belated anniversary dinner. We hadn't visited for a few years and I understand... there is a new chef. The food was excellent (appetizers of crab cakes and chowder, main of seafood pasta and halibut withforbidden rice) - expertly prepared and very nice presentation as well. The service was friendly and efficient even consideringthe fact that they had a wedding which kept the kitchen v. busy. Also, they have screened in the balcony so we might try thatnext time. It's not inexpensive but the food (and view) makes it worthwhile. Thanks! Read more
