Would give zero stars if were an option. Open 24 hours but went in at 12:24 AM after going bowling with our older kids and was... informed doing take out only. Nothing ever stays the same Waffle House used to be a great place with cheap food. You no longer get country ham. You get city... ham LOL. The waitress has to go back to get everything from sweetener to creamer, they used to leave that on the table or it wasthere when you came and sat down . Read more
Dude this is supposed to be a cheap food joint. How in the heck is an egg, sausage potato bowl and a coffee $12. That's stupid... expensive. Groceries are expensive too but real talk I can buy 18 eggs, a pound of meat and cheese and cook breakfast for awhole week for $12 y'all are tripping charging these wack prices like this is emerald isle yacht club or somethin, naw this iswest MOREHEAD jank waffle house. Waffle house is always my go to place and sometimes it can be bad or good but this place really tops the good side. Really kind... and patient people working hard to get us seated (we were a group of 6) they had such cute costumes and they were running busyin the rush hour trying to keep everyone happy! I was a little hesitant to go somewhere where I could watch them make our food, as I can be quite particular. Surprisingly, the... cook (Tony) did a fantastic job! He kept it sanitary, checked the temp on the chicken, changed his gloves multiple times, andjust rocked it. The food was great! I can not say enough positive comments about this establishment. First of all Laurel is the best waitress and greeter!! I have... never gotten a greeting like that at waffle house, plus every guest receives a hello. Than the establishment is very clean, themanager is awesome and his assistant is great as well. They both chatted to us and we realized that they knew where we werefrom. So the understood why we complained about the local waffle house in my home town.
