So good! We usually eat here twice when we visit. Recently tried the jalapeno hush puppies which were delicious too! I'm usually... a cocktail sauce girl, but at the Ruddy Duck I always try their tartar sauce and ask for the creole mustard sauce. Read more
You can tell upon entry thus is a well managed and staffed restaurant. We were told there would be a 15 to 20 minute wait.... However, we were seated in about 3 minutes. We sat outside on the veranda with a nice view of the intercoastal waterway. Wewere surprised at how quickly our food arrived. I thought it would take a while since the restaurant was so busy. I had theFrench dip. It had high quality beef. I did not chew a single piece of fat or grizzled. Absolutely delicious. My wife had thetomato bisque. She raved about it. Food are good, portions nice, the view and decoration is tasteful. Unfortunately, the service is not as appealing as expected.... Probably because we got a large group and it's a busy time. But doubt ID for one of our group upsets us. Read more
Waited about an hour for a table but well worth the wait. There were five of us and we were greeted by the most pleasant server... who had a great sense of humor. We ordered mussels and crab dip to start and both were amazing. The menu was full of greatchoices and we decided on pecan-encrusted flounder, shrimp scampi, crab cake sandwich, jambalaya, and a cheese steak. All weregood and the jambalaya was stuffed with mussels, scallops, crawfish, and shrimp. The flounder was huge and the shrimp scampi wasdelicious and so plentiful that half of it went home with us. I do need to point out that the slaw is the best I've evertasted. Just sweet enough. There was no room for dessert but i will definitely be back for the banana cream pie. The best fish sandwich I have ever had. That is really saying something since I eat them a lot. This was outstanding perfectly... cooked fresh mahi-mahi grilled, nice romaine lettuce, homemade tartar sauce and a tomato with a really fresh bun. A side of thecucumber salad which was also delicious. Our waitress Julia, was wonderful. Excellent service, a delightful, funny and friendlyyoung lady. Loved our experience at lunch. Good atmosphere, friendly staff, good portion size, price was comparable to other places in the area. Food was good, however;... the fries were barely warm, slaw was just ok. Overall I was satisfied with our experience. I would eat there again. Read more
French Dip and the 3 pig BBQ sandwich was great! We always have the Asian Shrimp. Food is always great! Good service, outdoor... seating and dock to pull up on your boat. Good time great food and great service! Read more
Reasonable wait time. Started with the chicken nacho appetizer and it was delicious. Waitress wasn?t very friendly but did her... job. Food was slow to come out but everything was delicious! Would eat here again when visiting the area! Read more
