Our favorite BBQ spot in Morehead City. My son loves it, and he is the pickiest eater. Huge portions, reasonable prices, and... very friendly staff. Consistently good, we've never had a bad experience at Moore's. Highly recommend. Dine in and enjoy a cleanand friendly atmosphere or get it to go and have a picnic (or whatever LOL). Read more

We stopped here last week on our way home from vacation and it was pretty good. The service was wonderful, the BBQ was good, and... the prices were decent with some dishes being slightly overpriced for lunch sized portions. Place was immaculate and a modern take on a traditional business with a long family history. Service was very friendly. Kids... meal was like a 5 course meal. I felt the prices were surprisingly low for the portions but it's true that the portions are just"normal" instead of "Southern American". Sink outside the bathroom (one in bathroom as well) thought that was an interestingconvenience. I love BBQ of all kinds, you'll get a Carolina style here. I liked it but I didn't love it to be honest, but it wasfilling and pretty tasty. Perfect combination for simultaneous diabetic coma and blood pressure stroke. When did it become acceptable for restaurants to... serve cabbage candy instead of coleslaw? Back off the sugar a bit. I promise it won't hurt your business. The same goes for thesalt in the barbecue. Great flavor just way too salty. Folks are perfectly capable of adding a little more of either if theyso desire.
