Woo Wee! I had to have veal. Fantastic. Wife got lobster ravioli with sun dried tomatoes. Tiramisu was most excellent. We had... two servers. Gail and Tony briefly. Caprese Salad should be considered appetizer. It?s big enough for two and wonderful. Now itwas busy and wait staff situation like everywhere. We just enjoyed a long dinner and watched them work their tails off. I wantedto just give Gail a hug. My only regret was ordering a glass of wine instead of bottle. Read more
Maybe the best Italian we have ever eaten after trying the shrimp alfredo! Everything is homemade and excellent. Portions are... great for what you pay for and the cook is also a native of Italy from what we heard. Make sure you make reservations in thesummer since they fill up fast all times of the day. Casa San Carlo is my favorite Italian restaurant by far here at the beach! Italian bread is just incredible! The caprice he... salad is out of this world! The owner is always in the kitchen cooking up an authentic Italian meal! Chicken Fabuloso isprobably my favorite dish but you can?t go wrong ordering anything on the menu! If you?re looking to cater for a wedding this isdefinitely the place to go. The other thing to consider is when we order we order with the thought of family style because theservings were so large! 1st visit: 5 stars -- Our go to place in Morehead now. Cozy atmosphere, great food, excellent wait staff. Busy on a... Wednesday. 2nd visit: 3 stars -- Went back the next night and not as good an experience. Waitress nervous and way too chatty. Ithink they forgot my meal and it came out much later than my husband's. Casa San Carlo is a delightful restaurant, perfect for a romantic dinner. The dining room has ambience, a familiarity that... makes you feel like you have been there a thousand times even if it's your first time. My personal favorite is the cheeseravioli with meatballs, but the eggplant rollitini is wonderful too. A Godfather, amaretto, whiskey, and coke, is a greatdrink with dinner. So often with Italian food the potential is there but the delivery falls short. Very happy to say that Casa San Carlo... completely delivered on everything! We made reservations and were delighted when the sat us in the wine room on our own. Veryromantic! Deseree, our server was perfect! All of her recondition were spot on. From the wine to the main course. We startedwith the Mussels Blanco. The serving was generous and the sauce they were bathed in was almost sinful. We took Desiree'sadvice and ordered the Shrimp & Scallops in a Creamy Sun-dried Tomato sauce over Linguini and we were not disappointed. Wesplit the plate. (Extra $6 charge, but we'll worth it to not have to try to wrangle pasta onto an extra plate.) It wasfabulous! The shrimp and the Scallops were huge, fresh and cooked perfectly!
