Went here for an early supper last week on an anniversary beach getaway. Have been to Morehead/Atlantic beach for decades &... don't know how we've missed this little gem of a restaurant even though we've eaten next door at Cox Family Restaurant manytimes. Best shrimp burger I ever had. The shrimp were tender & lightly breaded, not masked in breading like other establishmentssometimes do. Our server, Nadia was very pleasant & helpful. You could tell this is a place for locals because you could tell byher interaction with them as if they were family. Nothing fancy, but loved the food & home town atmosphere. I love this place! The seafood is fresh and they'll cook it however you want. Try the keylime cheesecake for dessert. It's not... fancy, and it's not overpriced! It's a rare find! Read more
Their sign says "Where the locals eat" that is immediately obvious. There point is, that means our food is good. They are right.... We had the trout, scallops and clam strips. All were excellent. Read more

Amazing seafood joint. Fair prices, friendly staff, pretty quick service. Best dang crab cakes I have ever had. Wife loved the... grilled shrimp and fried pickles. Shrimp and grits was pretty good. Fried orca was fantastic. It seems like everything wasbattered in house, fresh (not frozen). Crab cakes are made in house too, and you could tell. I would drive every bit of an houror more just eat here. Highly recommend. Just don?t expect the atmosphere that you pay for with more expensive places. Oh. My. God. What an AMAZING family meal! First of all, Selby took FANTASTIC care of us and it made the experience 10 s. Hush... puppies INCLUDED with meals, and delicious. We ordered combo platters for the table. Definitely had plenty to take come. Clamchowder was authentic and delicious. Sweet tea was on point, so was the ranch. Little details make it too! We had a party of 8 and every last one of us LOVED our food. We were even trading pieces of food because we wanted to share how... good it was. The waitress was the absolute best I've had in years. She took care of us, but didn't bother us. She was veryoutgoing and sweet. The prices were great compared to any other place around here. This will most definitely be my "go to" placeto eat on every vacation from here on out. Eat here. I promise you won't regret it. Read more
